The world must be crazy. But a good reminder to keep searching for another 10MM. Love that bullet

Re: 70+ day wait
The TAC says 60 days but may take up to 180 days. I've been watching and reading and this might help. Grab a calender and from your confirms that everything's been received, count out 60 business days. I know it doesn't say business, just an observation on what I've observed on this board. Texas is ...

Re: Gang members with LTC
Just an observation after a 30 year career in a large police department. I watched a lot of young rookies come and go. Two things they had in common: no hobbies and wanted to rewrite laws to their view in life. They burn out. Almost all departed and went into some type of sales job- where they faile...

Wish they wouldn't have made it so ambiguous.

Re: Help with color copy of drivers license for renewal app.
It is not against Texas law to make copies of your driver license. Kinkos and the like refuse to copy actual size and expand it greatly-for fraud prevention purposes, but they usually will point you to a machine that you can do the photocopy yourself.

Re: Keeping gun in holster
Absolutely nothing good can come from playing show and tell. Politely say no but if you would like to meet me at the range and punch holes in targets, let's go. I've said this multiple times and a few have actually gone to the range with me. I'm sure somebody will disagree, that's fine- but my answe...

Re: supporting docs all uploaded now for the wait...
Once you are notified everything has been received, find a calender and count out 60 business days. Holidays and weekends don't count. You'll see a little box pop up on your website login page that will allow you to change your address. When you see this box you are really close. When you call on or...

Re: Window tint loophole?
Texas Adminstrative Code allows as low as 25% light transmission to the left and right of the driver. I have that on my two vehicles with darker window behind me. It's nearly impossible to view inside in bright sunlight. That's the combined darkness of the factory and additional tint. How dark are y...

Re: Disorderly conduct ticket
Several police departments have paid quite a bit of money for officers arresting folks for flipping the bird. If that's the whole story you really should review your legal strategy based on federal case law
Read the first amendment. Google "flipping bird at cop doesn't warrant arrest"

Interesting. In and around AMARILLO I've seen three SOB holsters on bike riders. All empty. I've also yet to see an open carry period.

Re: New weapons policy at work.
Cities and counties have civil service protections. State Employees and Private Employees can be fired at anytime for good reason, bad reason and/or no reason at all. A simple "your services are no longer needed" covers it. I've read and re-read the memo. I can make it say you can(if you n...
