Re: Court upholds right to defend against police officer
Everyone should be accountable for their actions; as a strong supporter of LE I feel they should be given the benefit of the doubt but when that doubt is reasonable or even criminal LE should be held to a standard lest We the People loose trust.

Re: XL 650 Shellplate caps
Dillon part number 14050 shellplate cap, there is 5 in total and the response from Dillon was that they'd snap into place which is not the case. There purpose is to prevent debris from going through the dent holes in the shellplate into or onto the platform part number 22060. It looks like I'll be u...

Re: identogo fingerprints? How does this work?
I understand the LTC fingerprints are stand-alone prints and cannot be used in conjunction with any other fingerprint requirements, again I'm not educated on the requirements for an FFL.
When did you take your LTC course and where from may I ask?

Re: Small slim guns have ruined me!
It is at times like these that I have a better appreciation of how John the Baptist felt when he referred to himself as a voice in the wilderness. Here is my prayer for all who have lost their way. Lord, what have we become!!? You inspired John Moses Browning to design the 1911 so we could have a l...

Re: identogo fingerprints? How does this work?
Have you filled out your online application for your LTC online with Texas DPS? You have to to do that first as this is the "destination point" of your prints and the cost is 10.00, which is a set price paid online with a debit card or credit card, I'm not sure about the FFL.

XL 650 Shellplate caps
There are 5 plastic caps on top of the shellplate which I seem to have extra with my spare parts kit, my question is what do they do and how do you keep them in place? I thought they snapped in but that is not the case.

Re: So...you didn’t get Stimulus check...
I just checked the IRS site and this time I got the message "We need more information" instead of the previous message "Status cannot be determined". So, I proceeded to provide the information requested; some data from my 2018 return (I haven't filed my 2019 return yet) and my b...

Re: EDC knife
Pinch-grip between thumb and forefinger mostly; sometimes I anchor my thumb on the spine of the blade if I want a more powered stroke. It's a very grippy handle, even when wet - in addition to that, the handle is short enough that I can palm the butt-end of it against the inside of my palm which ac...

Re: Switched to wet tumbling
I was going to say that in almost 10 years with my 650 I have had virtually no issues with primer seating and I've never de-capped my cases. The seating process on the Dillon is so "tactile" that I usually know if there is a problem such as a crushed primer, not fully seated or even no pri...

Re: Switched to wet tumbling
I have tried a dryer, a Franklin Arsenal I think, but it would leave my cases somewhat tarnished vs just air drying, do you notice that or do you use something in the rinse process? I have considered de-capping prior to reloading but it would seem to add quite a bit of time since I'd have to clean t...

Do you de-cap the primers first?
