Re: Question for my brother.

(a), the actor retired from the assembly .[/b] Even if your brother called the assembly, called the neighboring kids, and then instigated a fight, if he was getting in his truck to leave, he has a valid defense to prosecution. How badly was he wounded? I hope he's okay. oh wow, thanks alot. I misse...

Re: Turn in a "failure to conceal?"

I agree, unless someone is bleeding, I leave the law enforcing up to the Police Agreed -- and unless someone is being reckless (not just technically breaking a dumb law) then I am not going to even report it. I would be likely to report a drunk who failed to concealed. A blowhard who egregiously st...

Re: Intervening on Behalf of Third Party

The VT shooting and this baby beating in California have one very important thing in common. They both happened where most of the good guys are not allowed to bear arms. There's also a cultural cancer where fighting back against bullies and criminals is discouraged. Almost everyone likely agrees --...

Re: Utah CFP Class in Austin Area

I am interested too, and live in Austin.

And I am (almost) embarrassed to ask how much the class costs?

(I couldn't find mention earlier in the thread and have to make sure my current budget can stand this.)

Thanks,

Re: Intervening on Behalf of Third Party

Let's reiterate a principle that most people have stated and almost everyone can agree upon: This is a personal decision which we all make for ourselves. I do have one piece of advice for you to take or leave: It is best to decide NOW, in the comfort of time to reflect what types of situations you w...

Re: So, anybody else CCW a mousegun?

Ok, since there is no agreed definition of "mouse gun" I will take a chance and say: Glock 30 in .45 10+1 ...the Glock 30 carries like a dream -- no rough edges -- IWB. You can easily tuck around it and unless you wear a translucent (esp white) shirt you're good. If that is too "thick...

Such a sign is obviously not intended for CHL holder because your bank could not be that stupid to think the non-compliant sign has meaning, right?

It might be to satisfy their insurance company WITHOUT affecting legal carry.

Sorry folks I just joined and would have been happy to help with this. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with two routers in a network; The Internet is a "just a network" and it has millions -- really. It usually does require a bit of configuration for the "router in the middle" ...

It is an excellent post. But even though I am new here I am going to disagree with one small -- perhaps trivial sounding -- but CRITICAL point. I am betting this is obvious even, but think that those reading it need to hear this critical distinction: It wasn't "LAZINESS". Failure to check ...

Agreed that "if they post" they lose my business except when I have NO viable choice.

This applies as much or more to the GUN Shows -- since these folks clearly know such signs only affect the criminal and unfairly restrict the law abiding.

Post a sign -- send the business elsewhere.

I know Karl and Penny really well and have heard nothing but good things about Tom so I am sure from both those recommendations and the association with KR that he is great. My real goal is to keep this as cheap in both time and money as practical --driving out of town is a fact -- since this is bas...

CHL Renewal AUSTIN -- Mike Nellis or recommendations?

Anyone know if Mike Nellis is still teaching CHL renewals in Austin, and if so, how to get in touch? His website austinchltraining.com is not working and his phone listed in various Google searches is no longer valid. Mike was EXCELLENT, inexpensive, and nearby (although we drove out to Manor to sho...
