Re: New Rugers

Gifted my SR9 to our oldest son, so the SR45 is #1 on my wish list.

Re: Weapons that you DON'T regret selling or trading

Several months ago I traded a .380 AMT Backup (SAO) and a marginally decent KelTec P3AT for a new Kahr CW45. I had a total of $335 invested in both those .380s together when purchased new. Am VERY happy with the Kahr - it is a well made compact carry gun with a substantial wallop. First trade I've d...

Re: 17y/o Killed By Neighborhood Watch/CHL

Sorry about the big picture - I did resize it on Photobucket down to the 620X480. Dunno why it didn't "take".

Re: On a lighter/brighter note

...a Smith would be great quality at a high price...I'd buy him what I first bought in 66...a High Standard Sentinel Deluxe 4" in .22 LR...it's a 9-shot DA revolver built on just under a K frame...I paid $41.50 for my first one...about 3 years ago, paid $219 for another in 80% shape...well wor...

Buying a handgun in Texas without a CHL?

For non-felons & resident citizens, of course.

I have plumb forgot what it's like and what the rules/laws are.

This question was recently asked of me:
Is there a waiting period while the background check is being done?

How about for long guns?

Re: Houston carjack fail - Victim kicks butt

If its's on the internet it must be true. No, I didn't see or hear anything backing up this story in the paper, on the internet, onthe radio or tv. But, I did see it on several message boards so it must've really happened. Well, I guess Operation Fast & Furious didn't happen since it too...

Re: Non CHL spouse travel question

My son's ex-MIL carries three handguns when she's driving around:

One in the console, one in her purse, and one somewhere on her person (I didn't ask about the specific location :evil2: )

But yeah, she has her CHL.
