Re: Let’s talk .22 pistols

M&P 22, made by Walther. Never ever had an operational failure of any kind, I use it with a suppressor. Easy to field strip and clean.

Re: What are the options if someone stole my garage door remote?

I had a Ford van at a Ford dealer in central Florida for service, when I picked up the van my 2 meter ham radio as well as a garage door opener was stolen. Called the sheriff to report the theft, deputy showed up at the dealer and took a report. The dealer could have cared less. Wrote the owner a le...

Re: So you want to buy a firearm during a pandemic

My breakfast buddies are reloaders and we were just talking about the ammo shortage, apparently 9mm bullets are even scarce. I think they can still get brass. When Our Former Dear Leader was reelected, that morning I bought my Bushmaster. 308 and starting acquiring more ammo and guns. That habit was...

Re: MO: St. Louis Lawyers Defend Mansion From BLM Protesters In Viral Video

When I saw the photos I thought those were very scared people with no clue of how to posture with a weapon. This is a wakeup call for those progressives living in their utopian bubble.

Re: It has come to this - registering knives

The mayor of London is one of those loser lefties like Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, etc. has - lots of crime there. Years ago the Bobbies weren't armed and there was no reason since they were respected.

Re: Andy C and TAM - Update Please on Form 1 Suppressor Build

I have three Form 1s, built two and I haven't machined my 5.56mm can yet (but in the planning phase.) My aluminum .22 suppressor works fantastically well but it took quite a bit of machining, K baffles with a port (I have a Griz gunsmith lathe and a small mill). Second can is .30 caliber in stainles...

Re: AMC Theaters plans to go bankrupt

The best seat in the house for movies is in front of my 75" 4K Sony with 7.1 surround sound. Absolutely no reason to sit in a movie theater for big bucks.

Re: TV Show "COPS" cancelled

We spent a few days in St Thomas (USVI) while sailing down island and I remember chatting with a white guy who was working there. He told us he was pulled over in his car for DWW. Driving While White, I guess it works both ways.

Re: After Action Analysis (George Floyd): May 27, 2020

He very well may have resisted arrest. But once he was cuffed and lying face down, resistance is over. I do not know about this specific case and I will not comment on whether the officers are right or wrong. I do know that I have been attacked by people who are cuffed and restrained. I remember on...

We get San Antonio local TV stations, saw that news story this morning but no details. Practically every morning shootings are reported, drugs and gang bangers mostly.

Re: Leather holsters

This isn't a flippant answer but I suggest you buy both. I have about 10x the holsters than handguns, some are okay, some are great and some are a total waste of money.

Re: GA: "Jogger" chased and murdered

Sometimes, the law is not moral. I know this does not belong in this thread particularly, but I have to agree with this. Sometimes, the law is not only not moral, but actually immoral and must be resisted. One of the hardest lessons I have learned in my life in law enforcement is that the law is no...

Re: AC repair shock! There goes any stimulus check I may get.

R22 is a more efficient refrigerant than the current R410a which has to operate at a higher pressure. My HVAC guy said new evaporators don't last as they used to due to poorer build quality and the higher pressures.
