Re: First LEO Encounter - Friendswood, TX
A front plate is required. There was new language in the law that made it ambiguous as to what the fine can be. But you are still required to have a front plate. I agree. The "license plate" law is located in the Texas Transportation Code and again in the Texas Administrative Code with sl...

Cigar boxes also make a perfect practice tool for IDPA. I used to have a terrible time getting my Glock out of the box before a friend included my Christmas gift in a cigar box

Re: Auto Insurance Database
Many cities are not allowing officers to use license plate returns coming back as not having insurance as PC to stop. :iagree: The database is frequently wrong. I love the database because it saves people from getting a ticket for no insurance when they don't have the necessary documentation with t...

I write people with a CHL traffic citations on a weekly basis. Get out of jail free card? No such thing. I am g...

I am a huge fan of Mika products. The little pocket holsters hold a Glock 26 stable in cargo shorts.

The muzzle flash will be unique from lot to lot, even with the same brand of ammunition. I would do my best to get a couple of them fired off at dusk and set up a camera to see how tall the "V" is.

Many times when I use one these pretextual stops the vehicle has already gotten my attention. Gigag04, if I am interpreting this wrong I apologize in advance, but when I read what you posted here it sure sounds like "The vehicle got my attention so I found a reason to pull it over." If th...
