Same here; they received all my paperwork and fee using my original printed fingerprints on July 19 and I had my LTC in hand Aug. 4. Sure beats the old days when it took 2-3 months.

What type do most of you use for HD vs. plinking?

Anyone have any experiences / opinions on IMI (Israeli) ammo for use in AR's? Midway USA seems to have some good prices and most of the reviews are good but there are also some reviews claiming what is shipped to the States are "seconds" resulting in misfires, failure to fire, inconsistent...

I like how he said if he could have run for a third term he wold have won (heaven forbid). No telling how much more damage he'll do before he leaves office in three weeks.

Watched "Last Man Standing" again last night and am still amazed at how many rounds Bruce Willis gets out of his 1911's. Wish mine could do that.

I've got the Sig P226 MK25 in 9mm and it's a tack driver and shoots flawlessly. The only problem I've had is finding a good selection of holsters for it. They seem to make plenty for the other P226's but not the MK25 model. Something to do with the rail being different.

I have a Sig P250SC in 9mm and it has been reliable. Hate to admit to admit I didn't do all the homework on it I should have. Didn't realize it was DA only until I took it to the range. Don't like the long trigger pull. Will eventually replace it with some brand on compact 1911 in 9mm.

Mostly a SIG P250SC in 9mm. Sometimes in the winter a SIG P226MK25 in 9mm. Will eventually trade the 250 in for a compact 1911 in 9mm.

Ran into the same situation at Quail Valley Golf Club in Missouri City two weks ago. They have a 51% RED sign next to the door leading into their pro shop. Looked them up and they are registered as BLUE. Sent in a complaint form this morning.

Great pics - Thanks for sharing. Been a while since I've been to Wings over Houston at Ellington. Glad to see the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds back in action after last year's "budget cuts".

The one at Westheimer and Kirkwood has been posted some time in the last month. Wanted to check them out but they won't be receiving any of my business.
