Re: Why are ammo manufacturers so bearish about investment?
I buy from my LGS whenever they have it in stock, just so I can do a little bit to support them.

Re: Why bother
Came from a Liberal/Dem state rep in a meeting with constituents. Question was "how you going to hold down costs of state agencies"... Answer was, do away with unneeded functions and programs; "such as".... Audience mainly old, bored, uninterested people who thought it sounded l...

Re: The New LTC Test - needs a redo
I exported the test from PDF to Word, and corrected a lot of grammar errors, because it is just an embarrassment to give that to students. But, yeah, there is that one question that is beyond help. The interesting thing is, they managed to keep the answer key the same. That was going to be my quest...

Re: Blood in the Street Day Today
My local paper posted a news article today about a shooting that happened down the street from an elementary school yesterday. Sure enough, the end of the story, we get this little bit While McFarland, who also serves as president for the nonprofit Marshall Against Violence, is glad to see the suspe...

Re: I think the forum is dying
I don't completely understand your argument. So pick your own news site to compare it to if Drudge was a bad example. Almost half the topics on page one in this off topic subforum are topics posted by one guy. They're all 24/7 cable news style topics. If I wanted that, I'd be on a news website. I c...

I suffer from that malady, too. I have a friend whose policy is, if you can’t find it, go buy 2 more.

Re: 2021 - back to Austin
I just got an email from them listing August 12, 24, and 26, but there will be dates for September and October coming later. Please respond to this email with your prioritized list of dates within 48 hours… The only problem is that none of those dates work for me. It’s too late to request a day off...

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?
I keep telling myself I need to clear a path to my bench. Too much stuff has been put in the wrong place after coming back from vacation.

Re: 2021 - back to Georgetown?
We always have been. The only time I’ve ever encountered requests not to carry were in my initial instructor class when there were people in class who were getting their CHL at the same time they were getting their instructor certification. Those people were requested to leave their guns either in t...

They left Texas with a case of Miller Lite, and came back with 6 cases of Corona.

Re: 2021 - back to Georgetown?
In the past, it has been a single day, and no shooting. The only time I have ever shot in Florence was for my initial instructor class.
Hotels are likely mentioned because most people won’t be able to drive in on the day of their scheduled class.
