Re: Run on Ammo

I was in Walmart today in Lewisville.

Obviously, no pistol calibre ammo there, but they do have .308 WIN .... quite a bit actually.
I didn't buy any of that.

I bought 2500 rounds of .22LR. $16.67/500 rnds. Same old price.
No need for other calibre's at this time.

Just FYI.

I found a dentist who'll clean my teeth, scrape my gums and fill a cavity without pain killers on Sunday evening.....much better than whatever the felons league is hawking.

Re: Alert! Volunteers needed to protect Trump Supporters at Dallas Rally

With no news articles about terrorists on the loose attacking people, can I assume there was no concerted effort to harm Trump Rally attendees? I had 4 friends that were able to go, they had a great time and stayed for the entire event. They said all was quiet where they entered and exited the AAC. ...

He committed violence in antifa; he died by violence in antifa. I'm not surprised.

Re: Double-Action Only Semi-Automatic Pistol

My EDC is a Beretta Model 8357, D. It is DAO; semi-automatic in 357Sig. 11 +1. No longer in production though. I like it a lot, but parts are scarce. What good for me is each trigger pull is exactly the same as the last one, no changes in the way it feels from the first round to the last. I bought i...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

I've read the entries on this topic in the Forum, watched some of the testimony on video and did a little research on my own regarding manslaughter and murder as understood in the State of Texas. From one law firm's website: "In order to be charged with murder, the defendant must have knowingly...

Re: going to AZ and NM

Both states have sizable Indian reservations and Tribal Lands. I don't know the laws, but I suspect they may be different from the typical State laws. Some research in that area would be advisable. That's sovereign territory, not much help from the State or Federal authorities. Edit to add: Keith B'...

Re: Speeding in a School Zone

I had a very pleasant interaction this morning. I was driving 35 in a 20 (school zone) and was pulled over by a motorcycle officer. He was very pleasant. He asked for my license and insurance which I produced immediately, along with my LTC. He asked me to hold onto it all while he completed the cit...
