Re: Lifetime CHL in Tennessee

I like the idea of a lifetime permit, but $500 seems a little steep about half of that would be more in line but why the need for higher prices for something that would require no additional administrative costs?

Re: Private U ?

This quote from ACU The ACU senior administration respects all views on this sometimes divisive topic but felt that maintaining a gun-free campus was in the best interest of the campus community and is thankful to have a 24/7 campus police department available to respond to situations should they a...

Re: 3oclock holster recommendations?

I fell your pain the only IWB holster I ever found comfortable at all was a either at 5 o'clock or a reverse at 6 o'clock my back was continually hurting so I went with a Desantis scabbard with a thumb break it holds my M&P 9 high and tight and hides easy with just a shirt over it.

They don't have to post their buildings. Until August 1 the buildings are still prohibited areas. I would not make the mistake of carrying into any buildings. The outside areas are legal to carry.

Re: Road Rage Approached Driver With A Bat...

Since both drivers stopped and when approached, the second driver produced a stick apparently to re-enact the river crossing scene in Robin Hood. That would be considered mutual combat. So what I'm saying is, based on the given scenario I would not have stopped unless caught at a light, or traffic t...

If it's not in your name make sure it's license is there and push it out onto the street. It's not your responsibility to store their trailer. If someone asks you about it just say you have no idea. Unless you're trying to get it claimed abandoned so you can sell it and make some money. Can you put...

I think what everyone has agreed upon is that you shouldn't let "other people" influence your choices, do some research, there are several good articles regarding using AR or AK for home defense. Also what ever you decide to use practice, practice, practice, Using an unloaded firearm, prac...

Re: Gun control group claims suppressors are ‘threat to public safety’

Wow, so a few people used suppressors on their guns to commit a crime. I bet if one were to do a statistical analysis the ratio of suppressors used in crime would be far less than the number of civilian owned suppressors to civilian owned firearms. Nothing to see here. I'd venture that they just mi...

ACLU issues statement about Higgins' segment. http://www.katc.com/story/31258402/aclu-issues-statement-about-higgins-segment Sounds like the ACLU is more concerned with the use of the word heathen than anything else. I would suggest that the suspects come in and prove to the Sheriff that they are i...

Interesting news - Anti virus software developer, John McAfee has offered to hack the phone for free.
