Re: Gun under night stand stolen.

I have to ask: Why would you leave a gun unsecured when you weren't home to keep an eye on it? Why did it take you until morning to realize it was missing? As a nightstand gun shouldn't it have been checked before you went to sleep? I am sorry for your loss and I really am not trying to beat you up,...

I had the Security Six also. In my preteens I carried it full of snake shot when hunting. It was my first sidearm!

Re: Someone lifts up your shirt?

I admit that I am a hugger. But if someone is a good enough friend to hug and decides to do something as brash as lift my shirt to see what it was I would have a quietly serious talk with them. Even without being armed that's a little beyond personal.

Re: Texas Girl Steals Car to Visit "Boyfriend" in Nashville

....would you be consistent and blame the example the parents set? I wasn't "blaming" the father for the girl's behavior. I was simply expressing that I did not regard it as a good example. Kids are going to do what they do. You have kids do bad things that come from good parents an...

May I remeind you that any vote for anyone other than Romney is a vote for Obama...

Unfortunately I don't really care for Mitt but he is better than a Socialist we have now! This is going to be a close race. Please vote, and make it for Romney and at least give our country a chance.

Re: Your experience with High Noon holsters?

Everything I hear about their holsters is good. However I had an email exchange with them awhile back, I was just asking a couple of questions, and the unprofessional and insulting responses I received were way out of hand. I have too many years in customer service to ever do business with people wi...

Re: Question on NO GUN sign

From a different perspective, we have often seen signs like, "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service." From that point of view, if you enter an office to buy services and it is posted with a non compliant sign, though it might not be illegal to carry, and no criminal charges could be enforced, th...

Re: CHL % of population and conviction differential

So let me see if I can work this out... ~4% of the adult population in Texas has their CHL. If that is one per household couple that means 8% of all adults directly support CHL. Now the average family has 2.5 kids, right? So those kids amount to another 10% of the population. That means that a movie...
