Re: Asking for prayers

Done, and I hope it lifts a little weight off of you so that you may continue in a positive direction.

Re: Obama's continuing legacy

Obama & Holder arranged for drug cartels to buy weapons used to kill police in Mexico. Is that included in his new plan as well?

Re: NYT says gun buyers more likely to shoot themselves than non gun buyers

How likely is it for somebody who stole a gun to be shot by somebody else who stole a gun?

Re: Termites

I'm more carpenter than exterminator. Termites will build a tunnel to cover themselves, and you usually see damage starting at the ground and moving up. That looks like borer beetle larva damage to me. The beetle lays eggs in the tree while it is alive and the larve eats the wood as it grows and dev...

Re: Kimber Ultra Carry II won’t cycle properly

This issue is resolved A good cleaning - took off what my friend said was very “waxy” type substance When he brought it to the range again and I moved the slide, I could tell immediately it was significantly easier to maneuver. Ran through 5 magazines, no issues at all Thanks for all of the advice ...

And finally, the board is installed inside the chassis. Lots of wiring yet to be done, but there's light at the end of the tunnel:
Nice! I homebrewed a Fender Deluxe several years back, but yours looks more involved than that. What are you building?

Re: Kimber Ultra Carry II won’t cycle properly

Wife has a Pro Carry II in 9mm. I kept it pretty slick and fed it full power loads for the first few hundred rounds.
New gun or used?
Either way - clean, lube well, and try different kinds of ammo and different magazines.

Enjoy!

Re: FBI Report on active shooter incidents

Looks like they revised their definition of "active shooter" to a more useful definition. The term "mass attacker" would be even better, as these attackers choose a variety of weapons. This study has been done by Texas State University. There is a poster of the study results fro...

Re: Will Truckers and WuFlu get us federal reciprocal CCL?

We don't need a law saying we can, we need the courts to rule against the laws that say we can't. I am a fan of letting people deal with the consequences of their actions in the meantime though. Instead of shutting everyone down, how about, "Sorry, I couldn't take my truck into your state becau...

Re: WTB Single Stage Press

Consider this| https://leeprecision.com/app-automatic-processing-press/ That is pretty slick. I already have the RCBS primer pocket swager, but the piece that bumps the cartridge off at the bottom of the stroke won't work on my Lee turret press. I'm afraid the APP would turn into a whole other rabb...

WTB Single Stage Press

I'm wanting a cheap ($50 or less) single-stage press. I plan to dedicate it to primer pocket swaging, so super precision and strength are not required.
Does anybody have an extra to get rid of or looking for an opportunity to upgrade?

Thanks!

Re: DPS unveils new design for LTC card

What is the reason for two cards: LTC & Driver Lic? Why not all in one? I want to be able to show an ID without revealing my license to carry. Most employers want a copy of your driver license when hired, check-writing, purchases that require a minimum age, etc.. I agree that we shouldn't need ...

I believe Joe's behavior warrants the removal of his firearms under Delaware's red flag law.
