Re: Winchester Gun Safe not working

In most electronic locks, and I assume the ones on the Winchester safes, the combination is stored in the lock. I bet we learn he entered the same combination only using the new keypad.

Yep, and if you bring up the idea of applying the same "common sense" restrictions to voting they start calling you ugly names.

I've used that analogy at work too.

Re: WD40

Automatic transmission fluid works great and is much cheaper than WD40. This has been good for me too. I don't clean and oil with WD-40 but I have used it for long term storage. Clean with Hopes #9 solvent. Use Break Free is my favorite CLP. Spray a good gun case down with WD40 and slide under a bed...

Re: Bloomberg campaign in TX

While I see gun rights being a reason people vote republican, I don't see gun control causing many people to vote democrat. I'm pretty sure entitlements are the main bait. To me, Patrick's opinions about background checks and voter motivation are more evidence of politicians being isolated from the ...

Re: School Districts Manipulating School Safety Data?

There us a long history of not reporting and misrepresenting disciplinary events. This includes the handling of criminal acts entirely within the school system instead of involving law enforcement. The hypocrisy is so flagrant it becomes tough to keep hard working and well behaved students on track.

Re: .357" 158 gr. XTP

The XTP has a reputation as a penetrator. Did the bullets that went through the water jugs expand much?
I'm currently doing some work with that bullet in my 38 special J frames.

Re: Anyone Interested in .357 Mag Revolver Shotshells?

It's tough for me to judge the shot density since you shot more than once.
I would expect the longer barrel to open up the pattern, both because of the increased velocity and greater exposure to rifling, but only testing will verify that. I look forward to seeing what you get.

I curious, how much was he exposed to Remington's advertising, compared to the time he spent on violent video games? oh for the love......violent video games have nothing to do with it it's all about valuing life. Now, you can say it's about how much time they spend playing the games, but that's di...

Re: Anyone Interested in .357 Mag Revolver Shotshells?

I make them in .38 Special for yard/shop/barn pest control. My motivation was something better than the .22 LR Speers, which had a very poor pattern out of my 4" revolver (shortest .22 I have). I believe the rifling affects the quality of the pattern, and my magnum guns are 4" and longer, ...

Re: NV: Sherrif who says he will inforce new red flag laws facing recall effort.

I looked a little deeper into this, and it plays back much like you probably suspect. Nevada's vast, rural areas send mostly republican representatives to their state legislature. The few, highly populated areas of Nevada send mostly democrats. This gives the democrats the majority. Assembly Bill 29...
