Re: Record Amount of Anti-2A Laws Introduced on 1st Day of TX Bill Pre-Filing

Bloomberg should leave our state alone!!!! Do not Californicate Texas!! I wish "we" had our own multi-billionaire financier to start reversing the whip and 2A-ing the rest of the country. Even with bloomturd's slow progress, he's making progress and that's terrible for everyone, even thos...

Re: Need a new gun belt

My favorites that I’ve worn: For nylon “tactical” types with infinite adjustment: Volund Gearworks G-Hook Liberty Belts Klik Belts For leather: Beltman 1.5” double-stitched, 7 holes 3/4” apart Mean Gene Leather double-stitched (1/4” thick and may not fit some holster slots but should last a long time)

Re: Rifle Qual - TDSA, TX

Good to see TDSA’s rifle range has expanded. When I was a member several years ago, it only went out to 200 yds.

Re: Anyone personally know of an open range?

Colion Noir recently revealed on Youtube that he shoots at Texas Defensive Shooting Academy outside of Ferris. Because of the video, I assume the range is open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8d0epgRh8fo I watch his stuff sometimes. Great to know since Ferris isn't far from me. :tiphat: SA-TX Yeah...

Re: WACO TACTICAL FITNESS BIATHLON OCT 12

As far as practice ranges in DFW area go: Tac Pro Triple C EXTREME TACTICS AND TRAINING SOLUTIONS I'm a member at TDSA which has rifle ranges out to 400 yards. That’s good to know about TDSA. I was a member several years ago, but at the time their rifle range went out to 200 yards max. I’d probably...

Nice! I also got a CMP Special a few years ago. Mine’s a post Korean War H&R receiver. Love shooting it. My Uncle Juan fought in the Pacific during WWII, and my Uncle Manolo and Step-Grandfather Guilo fought in Korea. So I’m sure at least one of them carried an M1.

Wow! Very cool! Does it also come with the bayonet?

Re: Supremes Say NYC Gun Law is Moot

They know at some point they will have to clarify Heller (rational basis, intermediate scrutiny, or strict scrutiny?) We will never be privy to the discussions among the justices and that is a good thing, but I would almost be willing to bet that this was why they ruled the case moot. There were en...

DHS Says Gun Manufacturers, Dealers, Ranges ‘Essential’ https://www.libertyparkpress.com/dhs-says-gun-manufacturers-dealers-ranges-essential/ Yes, I saw that update. Unfortunately, it’s advisory only, provided more for guidance to state and local authorities as they issue these orders. It’s not fed...

You might want to check out the "ticket" risk. Some penalties I have seen mentioned could cost folks their LTC for 7 years ......

Re: Closed gun ranges

The Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club is still open. However, when I called the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department to clarify whether the excepted “outdoor activities” includes target shooting at a private, outdoor range, they emphatically said it did not. So although it’s open, I may run the risk of g...

Re: Need help with “Essential Businesses”

On a positive note Denton County included gun and ammunition retailers as essential in their order which went into effect last night. Sadly, Ellis County, which once issued a declaration as one of a number of 2nd Amendment supporting Texas counties, did not include gun and ammo sales on its essenti...
