Re: Red Dot sight question.
I attended a low vis carbine class last week and got to look at a lot of red dots. One of the instructors was using a Leupold LCO which looked really nice. I may put that one on my next build. I have EOTech on my main carbine and ran that for the two day class. I have had it for a few years and it a...

Re: Carry style
OWB 90% of the time. Shoulder holster about 8%. IWB about 2%. IWB is the most concealable, but for me, the least comfortable.

I am still trying to get my hands on a Kimber 6. I've heard great things and that 3 inch barrel would be perfect. Plus, they're darn pretty too.

Re: OWB for colder weather
I was strictly IWC for the first several years I carried. When open carry went into effect, I started to always OWC, but still cover up I did the same thing. I only carried IWB until the law changed and then I switched exclusively to OWB. Interestingly enough, I found that a good OWB holster concea...

Re: First time as a civilian drawing my weapon preparing to engage
I'm like you in that I will stop and assist anyone who asks. This is definitely an unusual circumstance. If I was lost and needed directions, I would go to a convenience store, not try and wave someone down in an intersection. Also, two guys don't need to ask directions. It sounds like an attempted ...

Re: Dallas, you're next...
Attempting to erase historical institutions, traditions, and monuments is an old tactic of leftists and despots. Mao did it in China, Stalin did it in Russia, even ISIS has been doing it across the middle east. The fascist left is attempting to eradicate U.S. history in an effort to unmoor the next ...

Re: Who makes a good thumb break holster?
I just got a galco silhouette high ride holster for my GP100 Match Champion. It arrived in 3 days and the fit is perfect. Normally, with galco, I have to stretch them and work the retention strap before they fit right, but not this time. It was a perfect fit and I carried it concealed all weekend wi...

Re: Shoulder Surgery Questions
I had rotator cuff surgery about two years ago on my dominate right shoulder. I had put off the surgery for years and the problem only got worse. It had long since gotten to the point that I was making major lifestyle adjustments to accommodate my bad shoulder. Finally I got sick of it and had the s...

Re: Deltapoint Pro on 1911
There are three reasons for my decision. First, it was the recommendation of my retired SWAT friend who has had extensive experience with red dot sights. Secondly, was battery location. The Deltapoint Pro battery case is accessed from the top and the RMR from the bottom. That means the RMR must be ...
