Re: Body Cam Video Shows FL LEO Planting Drugs

I just don't understand the demented criminal mind . I cannot imagine taking pleasure in doing harm to other people. I don't consider myself sheltered, but compared to what LEO's have to rub up against every day, I am definitely sheltered. It's truly, truly sad that this vermin wore the uniform of ...

Re: Family pets?, Micorchip please

We have both of ours chipped, and a collar with the dog's name and my cellphone number printed on it. Well ya, thats because you is smart... :tiphat: Same here. Phone numbers and a message to let anyone finding them know...they are chipped. We have a couple of Dachshunds that are just like a child ...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

Few female officers are going to win a stand-up fight with a male 'suspect'. That may lead to a shoot first situations. Sentencing should be interesting. Generally NO officer wants a 'stand up fight'' with a suspect....but in my opinion Her biggest mistake (there were several) was entering the apar...

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

her apartment was not decorated like jean's, didn't she notice the room was different or smelled different? I would assume through police training, that attention to detail is a paramount skill used often. thats what stuck me. How do you not know the room is different from your own? ^^^^^^ It is we...

Re: Need Hornady Data for 6.5 Creedmoor

Everyone seems to believe that H4350 is THE powder for the 6.5 CM. Then, as an alternate RL17. I'd like to mention a couple more that are lesser known but maybe even better. Norma N204 is available through all of the major web retailers like Powder Valley, Midway etc. It is a 4350 class powder like...

Re: 300 blackout for subsonic suppressed rounds

I'm guessing you are wanting something that is quieter to shoot with? The Blackout...while I am not a fan of it...is tailor made for Subsonic/Suppressed. Probably best used at 125 yds. or less for hogs. You already have two of the best Hog calibers (IMO). But nothing wrong with having another. I'm s...

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?

Working on reloading some .32ACP with LeHigh Defense xtreme defense 55 gr bullets. I sometimes carry a Kel-Tec P32 mouse gun and wanted to try a bigger mouse in it. These are not easy to load, especially my first time using True Blue. That powder makes water look like molasses. LeHigh, Midwayusa an...

Oldgringo wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2019 9:25 pm Does everybody know the difference between a Coral snake and a King snake?
Probably not.

My guess is the majority of folks would not be able to tell a Milksnake from a Scarlet Kingsnake from a Coral snake.

Certain Shovel Nose snakes also have a similar pattern, but they don't occur in Texas.

Re: Watch Where You Walk

It is well.... to be respectful of the venomous snakes we have in the State, but most snakes are beneficial IF not up around your home or outbuildings. I was clearing some brush from around a tree in our pasture this afternoon and caught this Buttermilk Racer (a fairly rare snake). This is the third...
