Re: Here's The Ticket!

If you added up their IQ and converted it to dollars, you wouldn't have enough to buy a Saturday Night Special at the car wash on the bad side of the tracks. Even if you're correct, I haven't seen where IQ has helped. I've known very good managers who weren't particularly brilliant but they were gr...

In a lot of places you'd have to conceal the stick.

Re: So Texans--is Perry Running?

I'm not sure Perry has to resign as governor to run for president. Bush didn't. That said, I hope he doesn't run. I'm thinking a Gingrich/Cain ticket.

Re: The Deadly Danger of Tip Jars

When I lived in Albuqueruqe the same thing happened. Thief stole a tip jar with about 2 bucks in it. Shot the clerk anyway. Got caught a block away. I do not understand the thought process of the armed robber and murderer. It makes more sense when you recognize that robbery has a significant power ...

Re: Arizona had enough of the Feds.

Hmmm... are we heading for another War Between the States? Auntie Fedgov is a jealous mistress.... In my personal opinion, no. This isn't like the sectionalism of the 1850s....its not the people "over there" you disagree with, it might be your neighbor right next door. That would be a lot...

Re: True Grit

Oh, I'll watch it eventually. It's just that I don't spend money for the theatre performance. When it finally hits cable and is shown wthout cost, I will record it and watch it, skipping the commercials. I guess I should have said that I won't spend an additional penny.

Thanks for posting the complete story. I left out the part where the officer asks if the driver is going to a gun range or something.

Heard on Limbaugh show today

This may not be a new story - but it was to me. Anyway, Rush was recounting the story of a guy who blew through a red light and was stopped by a police officer. When the officer came to the driver's window and asked for DL and proof of insurance, the driver handed him DL, proof of insurance and his ...

I didn't realize they even checked for a shotgun or rifle. Shows how long it's been since I purchased one of those.

I just got my renewal drivers license. It sure is similar in color, format and font to my CHL.
