Unless the building/offices are posted 30.06 or off-limits by law (courts, bars, etc.) it sounds like you're legal to carry at work.

Re: Carry While Fishibg on COE Lakes?

I think it violates one of the Federal laws infringing on the right to keep and bear arms.

Nope. They're pistols, same as a Browning Hi-Power. Until you put a reproduction of one of these on it.

The law I read said "intoxicated" but maybe I missed something. Do you have a cite?

Did he actually file a police report? Or does he have priors, and maybe active warrants, and wants nothing to do with the po-po?

That guy needs to go back from whence he came. There's gotta be a police chief, sheriff, constable, or stormtrooper job opening SOMEWHERE in Kalifornia right now.
I would chip in for his one way ticket to Qandahar.

Re: Why is OC not allowed in Texas?

I would ask that anyone with a coherent basis for why OC is not allowed in this great state to respond. Historically, it was to prevent Freedmen from bearing arms. Now, it's mostly antigun bigotry and intolerance, but there's still some racism in the mix. Fundamentally, those are also the reasons w...

Re: Well.... Color Me Stupid

I'm not sure exactly why it happened, but I did wind up owning 2 pistols. Same brand, same design. The one difference was that one came with a higher-capacity 17-round magazine, and the other pistol was a smaller version, with a 13-round capacity. I have no problem switiching between different mode...

WICHITA FALLS — The suspect in a Tuesday night shooting that occurred in several locations across town was under supervision of the court for previous violent offenses, court paperwork shows. They didn't do a very good job of supervising him. Reducing the bond amounts on his previous charges, so he...
