Re: LTC requal revolver question

I have been an Instructor since 2002 and I always qual single action. I shoot my revolver every 2 years....50 rounds to practice and 50 rounds to qualify. ;-) Practice  I always shoot it cold. Just like if I had to defend myself ;-) LOL. For sure. Unless your shooting a 22, 50 rounds of practi...

Re: Will the General Public use 46.03 signs

I would argue that "making an argument" (including by posting a sign) is Constitutionally protected speech, even if the argument is intended to persuade someone of your point of view on a legal issue. The "unauthorized practice of law" involves engaging in certain acts, not mere...

I was kinda surprised that no one got charged for exceeding the 10 round magazine limit. There was no mention of what kind of weapons were found either.

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 26 dead 20 injured in mass shooting

The suit was about Academy selling a gun equipped with a 30 round mag. He bought the gun in Texas. But had a Colorado drivers license. 30 round mags are illegal in Colorado. I guess Academy was supposed to know that. He also bought some extra mags.but no ID is required for them.

Re: Gutfeld tops Kimmel and Tonight Show

I have heard Gutfeld say on past occasions that he is neither a liberal nor a conservative, but rather a libertarian. As such, he blesses all the deserving with the hot sauce. His schtick is that he tries to be funny cynic while doing it. We may call that bomb-throwing, or we may call that a libert...

Re: If you had the carry choice

I too am retired, and get to carry however I wish. I've been packing a Beretta 9mm px4SC for years inside the waist with shirt covering it for years. I can't think of a reason to change.

Oh ,once in a while I'll open carry my P95 but after lugging it for a while I miss my little beretta.

Re: Distressed about lack of Constitutional Carry Support (Long)

The only problem i have with constitutional carry is this. Several years ago while my wife and I were taking our chl class I observed 2 women on the line that could not load there own mags or chamber a round in their gun. They had no experience whatsoever. The worse part was the instructor helped t...

I've found myself frustrated at times over the censorship here, but not really anything to get angry about. It's important to understand that one of the purposes of this forum is present a positive view of the gun community to the outside world. I used to get frustrated at the blocking of, what to m...

Re: Enforceability of mask requirements

If that's too anecdotal for you, and you still think they work, I have another question. I've had the virus now, and the current science says I am immune for at least another 6 months; possible for years. Why do I have to keep wearing the stupid thing? Millions of people have now been vaccinated an...

Re: Contact shot, blast damage?

He almost lost me at the beginning, when he claimed that the spin of the bullet is what causes so much damage. I'm glad a struck through to where he made more sense. Even though he completely disregarded the impact of bullet weight and volume.

We had Strauss and Dan Patrick who have back stabbed any attempt to move this through.

I hope this explains things.

The lady was clearly wrong but they [bank employees] could have handled this much better and faster than waiting for the police... so if the fear was ACTUALLY health and safety- they would have been much better off giving her, her money and letting her walk away and close her account out. Instead, ...
