"Crack Pipe" Hamilton must have been smoking a special blend tonight. 4 2-run homers in one game, he was definitely on his game.
Gotta love when they beat up Baltimore, can't stand that team.

Re: Stopped By DPS Today
I take great comfort in the fact that there are quality officers like OK Trooper Charlie Hanger and THOUSANDS of other outstanding officers that stand between my family and the evil's of this world. I guarantee you this country wouldnt last a week if all officers didnt show up for work. Yeah, thank...

Re: Gun Silencers are Illegal in Texas. - Letter to TX Reps.
Just got off the phone with the office of my State Rep Glenn Hegar. Basically he took the law to the lawyers there and they don't see the need to change the current status of Silencers or Machine guns as they don't think anyone will be arrested with the current laws. So did he vote against MPA, thi...

Re: Registering a Vehicle in Texas
I heard California makes you pay all back years of registration even if your car wasn't on the road (junker, restoration, whatever). If you can get that 30 day temporary, do it, or they won't release title to Texas. Another good reason to get out of Commiefornia. Inspection: yes, definitely have to ...

All Texas plates are easy to read, even special issue plates. I see standard issue plates al lthe time from other states, can't' even tell what state they're from until you're right up on them.

Never been to one. Don't think they know East Texas exists. That's okay, I can buy American furniture that's already assembled.

Re: Anyone use Sean Cody for a Trust?
One of the things Darrel Clements told me about is constructive possession with NFA items. If I have given my wife the combination to my safe in which I have an NFA item stored, and then later I die without having her named as a trustee, then the minute she opens my safe after my death she is now i...

Re: TXDPS Ride Along
Yeah, It was in their written policy that we aren't allowed to carry any weapons, including CHL's. But I wasn't completely disarmed. I had a very well equipped M4 and Mossy 500 next to my seat--so no worries. Did the trooper show you where the release buttons were? I've worked on a bunch of police ...

The new private issue plates can be had for almost anything. You used to have to work hard to get a vanity plate if you were a Razorback fan, now you can can get an officail TX plate calling the hogs.
Pretty good Gadsden flag plate too.

Re: Carry in a Texas State Park?
You can carry in the state park as long as the land under your feet is not COE property. Not sure where the COE boundary for the lake and the state boundary for the park start and stop. I believe there are usually markers every so often along the boundary line showing the Corp property line. Big di...
