Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
I voted for Trump albeit with great misgivings. I am however still very happy with that vote. Hilary still isn't president and we have gotten some very good Federal judges. But there are times, Trump talks and tweets too much. He is continually stepping on his own good news. Drives me crazy. :iagre...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
Well Dale and pb, one indication that things are going to get ugly is the failure of the fake story regarding Trump's alledged use of profanity. Obviously you would have liked it to have been true. /snip Just a word of advice, but it's best not to assume anything about me. I do not blindly support ...

Re: Semiauto "Mouse" guns always out of stock
The problem is that while 22 ammo is much cheaper, the guns are similar in price to a 380, or larger caliber. For most people a 22 is only for fun, and not for SD, so if they can only afford one, they go for a bigger bang for their buck. 32 caliber, is even lower in demand, and ammo is harder to fi...

Re: Advice from seasoned travelers
Ontario is (or at least used to be) a great smaller airport. I used to fly into and out of the LA area frequently. Ontario was my choice. I love the smaller LA area airports. Not only for the convenience, but for the fun noise abatement take-off! Launch like a rocket up to ~3k AGL, throttle back to...

Free bump for an awesome scope. I've got one on my Tavor and I love it. One of my favorite optics. $850 is a great price.

Re: Advice from seasoned travelers
It may not help you now, but if you're going to Cali, avoid the major airports. If you're going to LA, try flying in to Burbank, Orange County, or the other smaller airports. LAX is a train wreck to be avoided at all costs. If you're going to the bay area, avoid SFO (as strogg said) and fly in to Sa...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
Just a ramble here, but is anyone else enormously embarrassed with Trump as our president? I don't care what the anti's think, and I'm only speaking for myself here, but I cringe anytime that buffoon tweets anything. There's a certain decorum that goes along with the leader of the free world, but in...

I'll ride a bike before I ever "get behind the wheel" of an autonomous vehicle. It's not a safety thing for me, but more of an overreach & control thing.

Re: Hawaii: False alarm on missile strike was Trumps's fault
It is an embarrassment for US NORAD. My understanding was this failure occurred at the state level, not the Fed / PACCOM / NORAD. Apparently some joker hit the wrong button triggering the alerts. I could be mistaken as I haven't seen the news today. You’re correct that it was done by a Hawaiian sta...
