Last Day (Feb 29) to Upgrade NRA Memberships
Today is the last day you can get your memberships upgraded before the new membership costs go into effect. Hubby and I upgraded our Life Memberships to Benefactor. The cost was very reasonable at $200 and you can even pay it out at $25 a month. I don't know what the costs are for upgrading the othe...

Re: Prayers For My Wife
Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers. We are praying for Mary's continued improvement. I had to smile at her frustration over the dishes. We women like to keep our kitchens in order. :)

Re: Prayers For My Wife
I am very saddened to hear of these troubles. I know you to be a man of great compassion for others. My heartfelt sympathy and hope is with you both. Please God, strengthen these two. They are your faithful servants and we know they look to you in their time of need. We join together in lifting our ...

Re: Senior U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia found dead
The official reason was released today. Obama had to stay home to begin his homework on Justice Scalia's replacement. As if any person he chose could touch Scalia's boot laces. Seriously, knowing Obama will try to replace him with someone who will destroy his life's work, it seems even more insulti...

Re: Help finding a new movie theater in Fort Worth
The trouble with this topic is the Moms may descend on any movie house we list. The anti's do seem to read things on here. It might be prudent to answer with a PM? My favorite place hasn't posted yet...and I don't want it to either.

Exactly. It's a matter of respect. Go. Keep your mouth shut and have some class. For a "change".

Re: Tarrant County Sheriff candidate Bill Waybourn
I have met neither Sheriff Anderson nor Mr Waybourn, but I have lived in the jurisdiction of Sheriff Anderson for over 13 years. In that time, we have have met and talked to at least a couple dozen of his officers for a variety of situations; car accidents next to our house, theft, prowlers, a guy w...

Re: Senior U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia found dead
Of course not and I mean no disrespect of anyone's viewpoints here. It's NOT that I am saying someone (especially not his friends) surely slipped something into his food. It was most likely a natural death. I am saying causing a heart attack by other means is possible and has happened in documented ...

Re: Senior U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia found dead
I am not a conspiracy buff, but it does boggle the mind that a Supreme Court Justice who has had no indications of problems can just die in his sleep and nobody in the backwater where it happened thinks an immediate autopsy should be done. No body in Washington takes control and says, Uh, we need to...

Re: Senior U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia found dead
This is both frightening and depressing at the loss of such a staunch defender of our Constitution on the SCOTUS. Prayers for his family, friends, and our Nation. I am waiting to hear what exactly was the cause of death. All I have seen referenced was natural causes.

Re: Man Pulls Gun In Road Rage Incident Nevada
I watched that story on 3 different tv news reports and noticed every journalist reported the person pointing the gun had a "concealed weapons permit" rather than a CHL (or LTC). I wonder if the license he has is actually from Texas at all. If he does have a Texas license, I don't think he...
