The Seattle Times reported that Michaels received fuel-industry funding, including money from the coal industry to publish his "climate journal". Could Michaels' objectivity be at risk? Sure looks that way. Now you know the rest of the story... :tiphat: Scientific inquiry needs money, but no amount of money can create fake science that holds up, because of the way it must be presented to be understood. It's in the definition. Now, data can be faked. Check with the IPCC about that - they are experts at faking data. It's why they have lost their cred. "Parameterizing" = "fudging". Parameterizing data is not necessarily bad, but throwing away the original data is bad. They've done just that. So attacking funding does not work. Falsifying data does work - to destroy your credibility. If the models are wrong, the validity of the input data does not even matter...

Taylor had kept pretty quite about politics her whole career, so to your average 30 year old this was big news. Seems like this is 90% about her being mad at Marsha Blackburn. I believe this is just another attempt, by the MSM, to discredit Trump, and again, they are using "anonymous" sources. If there truly are those inside, who are working to thwart, the President, why are they still there? Why haven't they gone to work for someone they feel would be a better President, in two years? Also, if, as they claim, they want his administration to succeed, why talk to the press? What possible benefit, can be had? He did not do that for his own amusement. There are some prosecutors in NY who hope they only get disbarred. The NYT, in tatters, is now in shreds. The appearance of no action is what is letting him do his work in peace. There's a lot more to take care of than the special council issue. That is 99% of the news, and of no significance in reality. If he fire sessions it will make it look like he is trying to interfere with the council. Sessions as to quit or resign in order to be replaced If Trump wanted him gone, he would "resign". The back and forth is just enough to provide cover for what's really going on. I believe there are already hundreds of sealed indictments against crooks of all kinds, in and out of government. It will be a gold rush for defense lawyers. But you are right - the appearance would be bad...
