Re: Texas Rebellion?
We all know what’s wrong with CA & NM, but does Arizona like all the illegals or what? Even for a Democrat that can’t be good for your state. I guess party before state or people.

Re: Shot Show '24 Winchester Ranger .22 LR Lever Gun
Had to stop watching after he broke it down to avoid another purchase. I’m still eyeing an M1 Carbine and those chances are slipping away due to other things popping up that require funds. I also have a few .22’s and one is a Henry Evil Roy. I think that is hard to beat. And a Winchester 1906 purcha...

Re: Can the USPS get any worse?
We get stuff delivered to us all the time that isn’t ours. 1. Same street number, but different street. 2. Same street, but different number. 3. Different street and different number. 4. Not even similar names. Amazon is usually much better, but even they will drop something off at a neighbor’s hous...

Re: Official DPS stats on LTC for 2023
I think it would be a good idea for the state to pass a law encouraging people to get the license, such as being exempt from sales tax on firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition, etc. Sounds like an interesting idea and I'd be for it, but what benefit would there be for the state to do such a thi...

This shoot only happened last year. Wasn't this immunity in place before that?

Re: Academy sports employee fired for trying to stop pistol thief
I read about this a couple days ago and thought the article I read implied that they did not try to stop the person , but rather only followed them to get information for the police to be able to apprehend them.

Re: Spare magazine owb at posted business
The state of Texas defines a firearm as any device made or adapted to expel a projectile through the use of a burning or explosive substance. A 30.07 restricts carrying a firearm by a license holder openly. A magazine holder is no a firearm so no, in my opinion carrying a magazine holder past a 30....

Re: Arlington Parks Mall Shooting
Can the shooter claim self-defense it the attacker had dropped the gun and the shooter picked it up? Also, seeing as how neither could legally possess the handgun in public. Unless I'm mistaken on whether or not an 18 can carry according constitutional carry in Texas. That I don't remember.

Re: New Problem! M1A or M1 Carbine
I was so shocked at seeing the Carbine that I didn't check anything about it. I didn't look to see what year it was stamped with or anything other than the price. Next time I'm there I'll do a more thorough inspection and ask about some details. If it is WWII era for sure then it's coming home with...

Re: New Problem! M1A or M1 Carbine
I think it comes down to personal preference. My opinion is to get the M1A but I fell in love with the M14 when I was issued one in Marine Corps training. I still think it is the best main battle rifle designed yet. I have had two of the M1As since then and deeply regret selling them. At that price...

New Problem! M1A or M1 Carbine
On my travels today I finally stopped at a place I've been seeing for a few years now and spied one each of those. M1 Carbine .30 ~$650 M1A .308 ~ $1600 I'm trying to search old threads for a discussion between the two, but not finding very much. I've searched the internet a little and determined th...
