Re: Instructor Alert

Thank you, Charles! I did get the email, but my partner in crime (I mean TRAINING!) did not. So, obviously, it did not make it to everyone.

Re: Eye Surgery

PawPaw - I have had 2 vitrectomies due to retinal detachment. These were about a year apart. Although not a piece of cake, I have had much worse things happen to me! You will have stitches, and that is a somewhat annoying. And, removing the vitreous and replacing it with saline causes early onset of...

Re: LTC Class-High Pressure Sales Tactics for Legal Defense programs

Thanks for the info I found a good write up on them. A bit disappointed in the shooting community that ranges and instructors still support this practice. Guess like everything else it's all about the money. It is, indeed, all about the money. Another instructor flat out told me that he sells his c...

Re: Pray For Broken Foot

I found the show up to size 17, but do not mention width. A friend of mine wears EEE, I'll ask him if he has tried Crocs. Wow! That would be great. I had my wife searching her phone after reading your first post. It would be great to get a pair of Crocs. Carl - sorry to hear about your foot! Been t...

I always tell students it is extremely difficult to successfully draw and fire against a drawn gun.

But, apparently, MIRACLES do happen!

I think this is a new low for Rick Perry. I really thought he had more class than that. Not that there is anything wrong with DWTS... for former has been actors and athletes.

Re: Identogo Question

The agency that receives your prints for the TX Review is TX DPS.

You should expect it to take around 30 days to receive a response from them.

Re: Residency requirement - 411.172 or 411.173?

411.173(a) says you are eligible for the license as soon as you move to Texas with intent to establish residency.

If you have established a residence, and received your Texas DL, then there is no six month residency requirement
