Re: Who's running a dot on their pistol?
Regarding Holosun and Sig...I’ve heard speculation that Holosun actually makes some of the optics for Sig. I spoke with Sig optics over the phone. I asked him specifically if Holosun made the over seas sig optics. His exact words were “did you read that on the internet? It is not true at all”. Some...

Re: Who's running a dot on their pistol?
My carry pistol has a red dot, Romeo1Pro, 3 MOA. I'm a reluctant convert, but convert I did because I sell so many to LEOs. Figured I should be able to speak about the product w/ more than theoretical knowledge. It took me about 700 ~ 800 rounds before I became a believer. I continue to train w/ it ...

Re: Duty to Provide LTC on Voluntary Identification to LEO?
Whereas I explain to my students the exact points of the law regarding when they are REQUIRED to display, I advise them that it a good idea anytime they have interaction with a law enforcement officer and are asked for identification to display BOTH their DL and LTC and state that they are or are n...

https://www.click2houston.com/news/woman-shot-while-setting-up-for-garage-sale-deputies-say A woman was shot in her driveway by another woman while she was setting up for a garage sale. The other woman drove off. I guess it is really getting this bad in Houston. I was curious if the killer had been...

Re: Everytown Files Lawsuit Over Texas 30.06/30.07 signs for being "burdensome"
sounds like bovine waste product to me..... - 30.0x signs only apply to 1 out of every 26 Texans. 30.0x signs don't " speak " to the other 25. Or to (most) non-Texans. Or to non-citizens. - I have the impression that most business owners who post 30.0x don't actually read or understand th...

Re: Beretta 92x Compact or Centurion
I've got one left
Only reason it hasn't gone home with me is because I know the 92x Performance exists. If you want to go really nuts, pick one up from Langdon Tactical that's a little magic waved over it.

Re: Beretta 92x Compact or Centurion
Can't help. The 92X Performance is challenging my 'don't buy any more handguns this year' pledge. Buy whichever one makes you the happiest. I wish you hadn't told us about that. Very very nice! And a safety on frame too. They tout it as a competition gun but it seems that'd work just fine as a defe...

Somebody better snatch that up. Nice gun with more than a generous price break given the times.

Re: Report expired paper tags
I love the vehicles where you can see the months, or years, worth of tape residue from every time they secure a new version of their homemade tag. I make every effort to avoid those vehicles in traffic. Paper plates and crime go hand in hand. Supposedly the state was going to overhaul the paper plat...

Re: So you want to buy a firearm during a pandemic
From ground level, can confirm the crazy has not abated. Actually busier now than during peak covid because I started teaching classes again which I'm doing on my one day off (brilliant!). Inventory at distributors right now is slim to none. Things started to recover from quarantine and then wham - ...

Thanks for the feedback! So, I settled on the thought of getting DPMS given the feedback here and what I have heard from others, but was surprised that there were only a few stores I could find that were selling exactly what I wanted. Then, I found this: https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/is-remingt...

Re: Instructor range fee for Online students
I charge $65 for the online student quals and $80 for my regular students. I cover the range fee. I run them with my regular students. I don't mind doing the online folks, but they always have so many questions. Kind of feel bad for them.
