Re: Houston carry

Tip the waiters for good sevice,...

"As far as these checkpoints go, I have never had a problem with them..." clarification... My problems with them go beyond the issue of my right to keep and bear arms... I would answer their main question to determine my citizenship...And that does have a slight rub with me in the first pl...

I think the more that LEOs get used to Americans asserting their rights, the better off we'll all be. The Americans so asserting had better be right, however, because if they are breaking the law they will go to jail. Anyone in a state that accepts open carry should know better in the first place.....

Re: TX - duty to retreat?
You guys are making me nervous. I am moving for other reasons but was hoping to get away from this socialist hellhole mentality of the whacko Democrats in the Legislature here who have a supermajority this time. I surely do not want to get back home just in time to see them do to Texas what they ha...

Castle Doctrine changes???
I just got off the horn with my Dad and at his HAWKS meeting there was a discussion about changes to the Castle Doctrine in the state of Texas... I told him I have not heard anything about that, did a search in the TLO website, no bills I could find about it, looked here for any updates from Austin ...

I'm looking in the Texas Penal Code and have been havig a hard time finding any provisions in the law making it illegal and chargable for the cause of "rudely" handling a gun... I also find it very disturbing that the police WILL go out of their way to protect a citizen when that citizen d...

Re: campus carry makes it to the floor
IMO, one of the things we should do is take care of the "filler" problem in the state legislature. All those junk resolutions recognizing birthdays and such that get put forward just to kill time so real bills won't make it to the floor before the session ends. The solution as I see it is...

Re: Democratic donors set sights on Texas
The vunerability of the Republican party is due to the failures of the parties leadership...I've been saying this for 15 years...Not to much success from within the ranks of this party... For the democrats to have ideals to turn Texas blue is a real threat to the rest of the country...And this is a ...
