Re: Where Has The Old Corps Gone?
Two friends, one a retired Marine Colonel, the other a retired Army SF Major and myself a former E5 paratrooper all agree we woildn't last five minutes in today's armed forces. There isn't one of us who are PC enough.

Re: Is it safe to pocket carry?
Pocket carry is an excellent carry method. A good well designed pocket holster is mandatory. The Nemesis just mentioned is a good choice I like the pocket holsters made by Robert Mika, a retired Los Angeles police officer. His are designed to stay in the pocket until you want to remove it. Re: Best conceal holsters for the bigger guy
Any of the hybrid IWB holsters is good. I prefer Alien Gear but, I own and use Crossbreed, Old Faithful, and the now defunct Kholster. I find all to be comfortable and quite usable. OWB holsters seem to be a more personal thing to me. I like and use a lot of Don Hume holsters, High Noon, and my most...

Care to explain what you mean? If it's not going to be legal why are you pursuing this? Enquiring minds want to know.dcphoto wrote:I'm still waiting to hear back. At this point it's not looking like it'll be legal with the equipment I'll have.tiviti wrote:Did you ever hear back regarding the CNC?

Re: WTB M&P 9mm barrels and mags.
I have an OEM 9mm barrel for my M&P 40 it fits and functions fine. The 40 mags work OK but, a 9mm mag works best. YMMV

Re: The FBI announces it will be going 9mm
Face the facts, a bad hit with a .45 is no more likely to stop a fight than a bad hit with a 9mm. A good hit with a 9mm is no less likely to stop a fight than a good hit with a .45. If you don't get a good solid hit to the thoracic or to the CNS you are just poking holes in your target and probably ...

Re: AK, AR, SKS range comparison, Trying to decide which to
AR-15 Great fun! (just keep in mind that it is a PITA to field strip and clean. Here's the instruction manual: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_7/354791_.html ) What makes the AR a pain to field strip and clean? I've been clening them since 1967 it takes me about 10 minutes to clean lube and be back ...

Re: OAL to deep...Junk?
Jumping Frog is absolutely correct about reusing cast bullets. Don't try it. If you have a large number of rounds to break down do it with your press. Remove your die and place the offending round in the shell holder. Raise the ram and use a pair of wire cutting pliers to grip the bullet above the t...

Re: Ambidextrous AR Charging Handle: Opinions
I have found little difference between ambi and non ambi charging handles. I do find the larger "tactical" latches to be better than the Mil Spec latch. If you want to put an ambi latch on your rifle buy the latch only and change it yourself you will save a bucket of money. Amazon and Ebay...
