Re: Texas State Capitol

My votes this year will be based on their votes last year. Or lack of votes, as the case may be. It's only fair.

No guns? No money. No votes.

I don't buy or use meth. I have no illusion my "boycott" will put meth dealers out of business.

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

I no longer trust the investigation. Smells like a coverup is ongoing. I wouldn't be so hasty, to denigrate the investigation. Most of what is being reported, is opinions from the victim's friends and family, and I'm sure behind the scenes activists are involved. None of the reports are from the Te...

Re: Texas State Capitol

Two years and a full legislative session has come and gone since this. The legislature had the opportunity and did nothing to give victims recourse in the courts. Not to act is to act. The incumbents condoned this abuse of power. For years we tried the soap box. The incumbents deny justice in the j...

Re: Liberty County Building - Posted

More than likely all actions against invalidly-posted government buildings are on pause until the lawsuit against Waller County makes it way through the court system. Cool. I just put voting for state level incumbents on pause until they resolve this. The legislature pointedly refused to create an ...

The off duty cop should get the same punishment as somebody who walked into a cop's home and shot them dead. Otherwise the rule of law really is a sick joke like Kurt Schlichter wrote last month.

Re: Texas State Capitol

Sounds lik it's easier to carry at the capitol, than Hays Co Government building. Went there the other day and they made me wait 10 minutes while they "ran" my ltc and then proceeded to follow me to the tax office, wait outside for me to leave, and then followed me to the door. Kind of ri...
