Re: Open Carry poll by your county population
I would like to see open carry pass; it is what the second amendment is all about. Part of it, at least. Imagine if there were laws against wearing religious jewelry or praying in public, unless it was hidden from view, or on church property. Would religious organizations hesitate to label those la...

Re: Poll: 2013 Session
Suppose it becomes legal to open carry in Texas, like it is in a majority of the states. Why would any change to 30.05 or 30.06 be required? Wouldn't the same signs or other notice that a property owner currently uses to prohibit someone carrying an AK or shotgun apply automatically to openly carrie...

Re: Belt Advice
I am a big fan of wilderness belts too. On the Kydex reinforce just remember most folks either reall like them or reall hate them. I dont know anyone indifferent there. Check out the Belt Man for a quality leather at at a good price. Someone post the website please. I lost it. :banghead: Which one?...

Re: Coming Oct. 1st: Signature line limits
The mod that was added to convert photos to links in reply posts is working well and it makes quite a difference for people reading the Forum with an iPhone, Android or other mobile device. To further help people using these devices, we are going to set a 4 line limit on all signatures, effective O...

Re: Bad Experience
I understand what you're saying and I know what 30.05 and 30.06 say. I also know that NO ONE, police that is, will arrest on either pc 30.05 or 30.06 in this situation unless effect notice and thereby refusal to leave was/is giving in the presence of the police officer. If what you're saying would ...

Re: What is a prefered hand tactical light?
I remember when SureFire 6P was the tactical flashlight and Streamlights used D-cell batteries. Times have changed. My "tactical" flashlight is still made by SureFire, but more often than not my hand goes to the 4Sevens Preon2 in my shirt pocket, or the fauxton on my keyring.

Also, they'd pretty much be saying that the American Experiment more or less failed, and that's not a statement to be made lightly. The American Experiment has, more or less, failed, and it started to fail as soon as the land of "opportunity" became the land of "entitlement". :i...

Re: 2012 POTUS election
I learned two things very clearly over the past six years. One, the Republican party doesn't care about fiscal responsibility. Two, I'm a sucker if I support freeloading ingrates. There's not a lot I can do about the first, except stop voting for them. However, the second lesson opens the door to a ...

Re: Liberal arrogance
I think Balkanization is preferable to rule by a totalitarian socialist central government. Now that I think about it, "Wayward sisters, depart in peace!" sounds pretty good right about now.

Re: Electoral Votes
They are forcing by law religious people who believe that abortion is a sin to participate in it financially. How is that different than forcing a Jew to serve pork? Since you asked, I think requiring an observant Jew or Muslim to serve pork would be more like requiring you to perform an abortion. ...

Re: What is it about "ILLEGAL" they don't understand?
I'm sure it has been brought up, but Romney did not get the same number of votes as McCain. Its not that old white men are outnumbered its that they didn't vote this time. If they had all voted like they did in 2008, Romney would have won. They told the pollsters they favored Romney and were going ...
