Re: Amount of Ammo?

First, I have no official work on the subject, but based on last year the few changes we are making this year. This is what I would do; 100 round minimum per class, plus 100 rounds extra just in case. Then a minimum of 250 round for the Texas star(this is on the lite side, last year i think I shot 5...

Re: Magazine requirements

stated maximum 11 rounds per magazine, or if your magazine held less than 11, just load to magazine capacity. Teamless, To clarify the rules state only 10 rounds in a magazine. The 11th round is the "one in the pipe" if you are running high cap magazines you can put 11 in the first mag, a...

Re: PPU stamped cases

Well I have not had that issue on the PPU in 9mm, I have had the issue with 45 PPU brass, I think the primer pockets are just tight or they have an adhesive on them. They shoot fine once you get the new primer in. Are you using "new style" Dillon dies with the spring loaded decapping pin? ...

Re: Does anyone compete with a carry gun

yes and no, I shoot a 5 " 1911 in most of my IDPA matches, and switch off on carrying a 4 inch and 5 inch 1911. my 4 inch has a allow frame so it is a little lighter to carry.

a lot of people carry full sized guns .

Re: What to expect?

I believe that Charles (tongue in cheek) might be expressing a preference for IDPA over IPSC. Thanks. I long for the day when I'm a Senior Member and knowlegable on such things. ;-) Yep, just an inside joke with Kevin and some of the other PSC IDPA crew. There's nothing wrong with USPSA at all.
