Re: My Interview Tonight On Local TV re: Open Carry

Or he simply wants to assure the public that the people they see armed are nothing to worry about because law enforcement is on the job keeping things in line. I am with the members who feel most officers will not want to spend their time on open carry unless they see someone who otherwise looks a b...

Re: RENEWAL

Charles, when will you know if you can do the recording? I had planned on going that route since I am in DFW. I also am interested in the discussion you are considering on the new laws that you brought up in another thread and am hoping it too would be made available on video. I know you have been t...

Re: So what's the new signage going to be?

If any employee asks someone open carrying to leave, there are at least two possible scenarios. One, the person carrying is polite, calm, and apologizes for not knowing it was not allowed and leaves with dignity and class. The other scenario is more like OCT in which the person carrying demands to k...

Re: So what's the new signage going to be?

I am just hoping everyone who is super eager to carry openly exercise a little sensitivity or we may well see a lot of new signage. Too many people have been led by the media to think we are all the same as OCT and the like. It was videos of those wanna be's that were put on the screen just about ev...

Maybe this is what is fueling the rumor? Not the same article I read a few days back but very similar:

Re: Charlton Heston: A Torch With No Flame

A man of honor and a true American. Thank you for posting it. Seeing it again still squeezes my heart for our great nation. If we don't pass down to the next generation these simple yet incredibly important truths, who will? Not the liberal school system nor the liberal press. It's up to us.

Re: Frustration Over Gun Bills' Progress

Hopefully, when legislators and others read the more heated comments concerning the current session, they realize there are a great many of us who are not so impatient and do trust those who are working for us to pass desired legislation. We just don't post much. Thank you, Charles for all you do. :...

Re: Guns are like Climate change...

Ben Carson's support of using a heavier ethanol fuel may have more to do with winning Iowa than whether or not he is really that clueless. Either way, he's not top of my list simply because he seems to have too little conviction on the Second Amendment.

Re: Guns are like Climate change...

I used to be in the climate change boat. Then a friend of mine challenged me to not simply drink the koolaid, but to open my eyes and pay attention. The mainstream media has bought the whole thing and doesn't like to report on opposing expert viewpoints and scandals involving falsified data and the ...

Re: HB910 on House Calendar for 3rd Reading

If I was stopped for OC'ing I would be very respectful to the officer and not have an attitude towards them and show them the requested identification then go on my way. The best thing we could do if faced with that situation is to be a good ambassador for the entire CHL program. I believe that mos...
