Re: Can a cop ask you if you're CCW?
The original post has a little more to it than you recalled which has increased the scope of the discussion. Copy & Paste "If you're completely concealed, can an LEO walk up to you and ask if you're CCW, because he sees that slight bulge under your shirt? Do you have to respond? I'm assume ...

"Residents believe they know who is making these calls."
Looks like its time for a reverse 'sting'. Or should I say 'swatting'.

Outside the context of this forum I can imagine something... Well lets just not go there.
I have learned more about the workings of politics and government on this forum in the few months I have been a member than a life time not.
Thanks!

Re: Recommendation for IWB holster for P938?
I carry a PM9 or G26 in a CTAC. I also have a Crossbreed hybrid with horsehide for the PM9. Crossbreed only has the one belt support, but the smooth side against the body. The CTAC has the front and back belt support. Bias is for the CTAC, but the Crossbreed gets the nod from time to time. Watching ...

You should include the DD214N form date (i.e. 1 NOV 72). On mine #26 is Decorations, Medals... authorized and #28 is address after separation. Which is different that the one previously issued, 7 year prior (1 JUL 66) Line 26 is your 3 digit separation code where Line 28 is the "Narrative Reaso...

I would never make it as a lawyer. Read to fast, think to slow. New personal rule. No responding on my part until after at least 10 others have posted.

Re: Silver plating aluminum
Not a big deal. When you get your call sign you are in the FCC database for all to see if they know where to look and how. On qrz.com a ham forum my call sign is my username, like everyone else, on everything I post. For a ham his call sign is in a lot of ways a nickname frequently used on the air. ...

As you read in my Bio, electronics has been my job which I loved and was paid to do. Got the license only 8 years ago so the 2x2 is a vanity call once I got my extra. I would have like to have gotten K5MC, but that was taken. Took what I could get. Thanks for the compliment on the station....

Building a duplexer from scratch. That is a serious project.

I think calling 911 is appropriate too. I seem to recall in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area some persons have been pulled over by a person impersonating an officer. Don't recall if any kind of crime was committed against the person stopped. I don't know all the elements of the crime of impersonating offic...

I agree with the other comments. Holster to safe and back to holster, no unloading/loading for me. I must admit your rounds get beat up pretty good. Looks like a good reason to spend more time on the range cycling your carry ammo before it looks that bad.

Lots of good information about sourcing a product. TAM's comment about color in the previous post prompts me to comment on that subject. For travel and special event activities I use Maxpedition products in black. They are not lined so what's on the outside is what's inside. Trying to find an item i...

FloMoAggie, While I understand your comment about your house is the safest place when the police arrive outside and don't take this as a negative about police. My perspective is that's the time to take home security to the maximum level you can, because the police are outside. They are there because...

Congratulation! The plastic is the 1st step, gun the 2nd step and step 3 to infinity is the holster on your journey. Process every carry possibility that seems reasonable to you. Look at all the different websites selling holster. Beg, borrow, steal or buy used second hand holsters that floats to th...
