Re: Homeowner shoots man breaking into his shed
Looks like this guy finally learned a valuable lesson. Maybe his buddies will stop stealing other peoples labor, because that's all we have in our finite existence on this planet. Our labor allows us to acquire those things we will need as we age, and those things we need to make our time on this pl...

Wanna guess what the national average time from Manufacture to recovery at crime scene? (Cause we need background checks to stem the tide of violence.... 11.12 years)
I wonder if the firearms Eric Holder sold to Mexican drug gangs are in these stats.....

Re: Intersting Article "Firearm Stopping Power"
Any FMJ ammo is generally going to cause less damage and have more penetration than JHP ammo. The stories from those vets don't surprise me. I remember stories about our guys fighting in Somalia back in the early 90s. Many of the bad guys there didn't get a lot to eat, and the GIs called them "...

Was thinking about the double tap 45. That would be as small as I go. My 1911's are very comfortable.

Re: Gunsmiths in FW?
Andrew in Southlake is very good. British chap, other than that flaw he is awesome. ADM Gun & Rifle makers is his company. Shop is off 114 & Kimball. I live 50 miles west near the Jack County line in the middle of nowhere and have a gunsmith out here but he is not near the caliber of Andrew....

Re: Catch someone breaking into car
I wouldn't shoot anyone unless they needed shooting and it was justified self defense or to defend another's life day or night. I also wouldn't dial 911 and let him walk. I agree nighttime is very different rules but I would still make sure the shot needed to be taken. That bullet cannot be put back...

Re: Catch someone breaking into car
Good debate. I would protect my property but that's just me. It's a principle thing and I will keep my principles and my Property. Let a criminal go today he kills or rapes someone tomorrow. Criminals are after all criminals. Maybe this "radar detector" criminal just hasn't found the right...

Re: Does your mom know you carry?
My mom is 78, still works at the hospital 2 days a week and has been carrying a .357 Magnum (now with laser grips) for as long as I can remember. Maybe this has something to do with my dad owning a gun shop...
