Re: Barret-50Bmg vs Barret 416

I would have to go with the 50 BMG, Availability of Ammo, a couple of years ago I was at the Ft Worth Gun Show and a guy was selling several large caliber rounds in different amounts depending on caliber, he had a couple of zip lock bags with 50 bmg in them, these were labeled RAUFOSS, since I didn...

Re: Family pets?, Micorchip please

Yesterday, called to scan tow pets found running at large (many of the local police and others call me before they will call Animal Control). Older pup 1 had a chip, younger pup 2 did not, neither had collars. Ran the chip number, owner contacted, both dogs were his, he came over and picked them up....

Re: Family pets?, Micorchip please

Frankly, I am not 100% I have the most up-to-date information. It is a few years old and things might have changed for the better since. Please let me know what you find out, I am too busy (and too lazy) today to look into it. If you message me the microchip number I’d be more than happy to tell yo...

Re: Family pets?, Micorchip please

Let's not forget that while the implantation of the chip is not really that expensive (and sometimes vets do it for free as part of some promotional events), it's the registration database fees Only one of the microchip registration sites charge additional fees annually, and I dont know of any grou...

Re: Poll: How Much Ammo on hand?

I selected 2000-5000, but that is per caliber, not total and it would not include shotgun 12ga , as that number is a bit small at 700 rounds today.

Re: 1st Amendment under assault in Michigan

I've read though this several times now. Unless there is more to the story (yes I know always is) I cant understand what the was said that met the letter or even intent of the law in question. 750.540e Malicious use of service provided by telecommunications service provider. Sec. 540e. (1) A person ...

Re: Gov. Abbott Issues Executive Orders

I will withhold comment on the specific Exec. Orders, but I will say this much. The iWatch Suspicious Activities Reporting Network needs to be revamped to require that the reporting person to provide their name and contact information. This information should be immediately verified and if this is ...

Re: Would you support this gun private purchase restriction

So my grandfather would need to get these letters to pass on his guns to me? If I die this afternoon, and did not have the forethought to get these letters in advance of dying in a car accident..my firearms can not be transferred to my wife and sons? If I stay as grumpy as I am today, it is likely I...
