Re: Tenants who threatned you
As far as self defense classes, Krav Maga is the way to go. I take Tae Kwon Do and Karate and dont get me wrong , they are great and I enjoy it...BUT, if you want business end results, Krav will give you some good real world training. http://krav-magatexas.com/main/" onclick="window.open(t...

Re: Tenants who threatned you
Did you feel that your life was in danger? Words are not a valid defense. If they called you every name in the book, it wouldn't be OK to pull your gun, if you believe that your life was in danger, then that is a different story. It looks like you were trying to de-escalate (i.e. leaving the house, ...

Re: Rumor about Utah CCW no longer being honored in Texas
My google fu showed that nevada did it last year. My friend hasnt responded with the guys name. I did read that the Utah "DPS" had been slammed with CCW requests and it is apparently THE CCW to get based on the light restrictions. They interviewed some folks from MO and was told the reason...

Re: Rumor about Utah CCW no longer being honored in Texas
From the conversation that I had with him, this instructor DID do both Utah and Texas, that is the part that is "befuddling", the instructor had NO reason to say this. That is the part that is a little concerning. For now, its an unfounded rumor. If there are any folks going for the CHL th...

Rumor about Utah CCW no longer being honored in Texas
****RUMOR ALERT**** I was talking to a friend of mine about CHL's (he is interested in getting one) and he mentioned that he had spoke with his instructor about just getting a Utah CCW instead of a Texas CHL and was told that Texas is getting ready to pass a law where they will only honor the Texas ...

Re: Bullet From Father's Gun Hits Daughter
EVERY time I touch a gun, the FIRST thing I do is drop the mag and clear the action. The only time the gun is "loaded" is when it is on my person (holstered of course) or being put in a gun safe. When the gun is unholstered to be put away, the barrell is ALWAYS straight down while the mag ...
