That means they haven't looked at it yet, but since you called you get bumped to the top of the line and I will process it now.

Let me know the outcome! I haven't been there yet, but keep meaning to try it out. Our 8th anniversary is in about 2 weeks and I was thinking of that one as a starting point, but not if they are illegally posting a 51% sign.

Banning this would set a very dangerous precident and I can't support it. If the person has a valid hunting license, I don't care if the shot is actually fired via a mouse click or via a trigger pull. There are many people who may not be physically able to get out to a deer lease, but banning someth...

I don't think your clock started until you got them all of the required information - how long has it been since you sent in the rest of the information?

If you don't already have a 1911 model or a .45 then that is what I would get. I do like the XD though, so if I needed a gun I could CCW and not worry about scratching and all that the SA would be a top choice. Although I would probably get a ParaOrd instead of a Kimber, but that is totally personal...

I have been to Red's - and I don't go to McBride's anymore. Actually I will be at Red's tomorrow over lunch for some range time ;-)

I will have to hit the gun show on the 3rd weekend this or next month.

Looks like (based on section 1a) that I won't ever have to take the proficiency test again.

But I will - much better that than pulling out the DD214.

I know both of those and use them, but I was thinking some formal instruction time.

The next IDPA match is at the Hays County Sportsman's Complex on 19 June and I will be there ;-)

Any trigger time is good trigger time.

I wish that had some impact. My last name is only used by 6 people in this state right now (8 when my brothers are back in town).

Reloading kit

I am going to get started reloading fairly soon because I can't afford the factory ammo for .44Mag / .45ACP like I can for 9mm. I am seriously thinking that a Lee 4 hole turret kit would be just about perfect and get me started for just over $100 after I get the dies and powder. So here is the probl...
