Re: How do you determine value of pistol for sale
The Colt is running from about 2500.00 to as high as 5500.00 (except 1 I saw for 13000.00). Depends on condition. The Sig is running from 950.00 to 1300.00 again depending on condition Sig is like NIB- Python is beautiful too but has been shot. I shot it last year for the first time since I acquire...

How do you determine value of pistol for sale
Just curious how to determine value if posted for sale. I may be about to lighten the inventory a 6" Colt Python and a Stainless Sig Sauer 1911-45-SSS. I've looked at the big Auction sites as well as Pawnbroker sale and honestly the prices are all over the place. Both are beautiful, the Sig has...

Re: Cell Phone Data tax increase?
I can't find it. But here is a cool link. Perhaps drop a dime to the PUC with documentation. In my search I did find where one carrier planned a $5 spike in July.

Re: Academy and Buying Ammo and carded?
Various shooting blogs are reporting a new sporting rifle and their ammo policy. Don't know if calling people names is going to help, perhaps a Google search on if they've instituted a new policy or if it's just a rumor?

Re: Active Shooter Amarillo Walmart
"The first rumor is seldom true" Amarillo PD has an excellent Twitter/Nixle feed. As do most large law enforcement agencies. You could get the info many minutes before news outlets without the spectacular video of traffic jams, staged emergency vehicles and a slowly circling helicopter-and...

Wisdom from my Dad r.i.p. "It's ok to know something no one else knows" "Just because someone throws you a ball doesn't mean you have to catch it" And my favorite, " sure you can ask me a question, but no promise I will answer it" Over and over and over. Then I taught t...

Re: "Waiting Room"
Since I am now at 65 calendar days, all in 3/14, and am seeing a number of people who were all-in in February and March already getting their plastic, I am a little concerned. I am in two categories getting additional scrutiny due to Obama executive orders. They are trying to exclude issuing licens...

The presumptive levels of intoxication .08 applies to motor vehicles (DWI)on public property or public access, watercraft (BWI)on public waterways and amusement park ride operators. Re: Need suggestion on how to proceed
I think they need to bring back civics and can social studies. Texas state agencies can't F*rt without the legislature telling them which cheek to raise. When a person calls in and complains to a lawmaker or the executive branch they are complaining to them about them. DPS just keeps building a mans...

Re: February LTC Timeline
I have no record so it shouldn't take long I wish we could just got to the dps and do this it would be so simple they have the technology to make the licenses on location Please take a look at the approximately 21 items the legislature requires to be checked and verified. If it was as simple as a c...
