I did not do it.ddstuder wrote:I just did my online renewal.
Printed the checklist page with the barcode.
IT says on the sheet to EMAIL or MAIL the page, but does not have an email address.
Is it necessary to mail this in on a renewal?

I liked the OP's version with the exception of the very last line on the very bottom. I would leave that off.

Re: Would you search for a shooter?
Some people run to the sound of gunfire and some run away. The former are not foolhardy and the latter are not cowards. That's just the way people are hardwired. What I would do would depend upon the overall circumstances. Remember, Tex. Penal Code §9.33 allows people to defend 3rd persons. Chas. I...

Re: Armed Teachers - what am I seeing incorrectly?
In a school, and armed teacher might feel compelled or emboldened to go in search of the shooter. In a mall, most SOPs for the mall is evacuate/hide. I know I teach CHLers to not go hunting active shooters just because of this concern. That said, I firmly believe an armed teacher could leave the po...

Re: Anyone interested in a "Your first car" thread?
Purplehood's post brought back memories. I learned to drive on a '53 Merc - 3 speed on the column with overdrive. It was the first car that I worked on - put a new muffler and a new clutch in it without many tools. When I was a little boy, my dad drove a '53 Merc. Looked just like this one: [ Image...

Re: Anyone interested in a "Your first car" thread?
I had a 57 Chevy Model 210 and a 53 Mercury with a flathead in it. Neither really ever got road-worthy.
My first functional car that I paid for as a young Marine was my 74 Plymouth Duster with a stock 318 in it. Automatic, 2 bbl carburetor. But I really liked it.

Re: Man shoots vandal slashing tires at night, arrested
I obviously don't get the gist of the law or the general feeling among many of this topics posters that shooting someone over property is okay (I am not disputing the legality of it) because it can be "dangerous" or whatever. The only reason that I am going to shoot somebody is that they ...

I would suggest revising the question to when do you NOT carry. It would be much simpler to answer.

I thought that he was an excellent actor. I think it is extremely sad that anyone becomes an addict, let alone die from it. In my personal experience hard-core addicts generally have a difficult enough time just living a simple life, so It amazes me that such a good actor was able to practice his cr...

I don't rule out the possibility of further incidents of house-to-house searches happening elsewhere. Just look at Katrina and New Orleans.
