If the House and the Senate wish to impeach and convict a sitting president, there is nothing he can do about it. Any talk of "self-pardon" is complete nonsense. A president cannot be charged by any other means while in office. If things went off the rails, and he did get charged by a rogue grand jury during his tenure, he could pardon himself - because the charging would be unconstitutional, and because he can pardon anyone he wants of criminal conviction. Clear? He may want to be careful while in office, because he won't be president forever. We are going to see Obama charged with something...

If you were communicating in something else, or merely meant to change the subject because you you were unable to utilize either logic or reason in support of a position, then you need to work on an effective form of rhetoric beyond cartoons. You and Dale bash Trump every single posting. You simply cannot claim logic and reason when you exhibit such baseless hatred. The cartoon illustrates your hypocrisy. Agreed that the process to remove a sitting president is thru impeachment, but does mean that a president can not commit obstruction per se? or that a president could pardon himself without consequence? or that a sitting president is above the law? I think not, or the next obama will have a field day in office. The ideas floating trump's positions on these issues are at best not well though out, or worse, are garbage designed as distraction. Any high crime or misdemeanor can be addressed with impeachment and conviction while in office. Once out of office, the normal channels of justice apply. I think we may see this very thing in action very soon. A former president cannot pardon his own self (or maybe he can?). Maybe a blanket pardon of his own self on the last day in office? That is fully in the middle of banana republic territory...
