Re: Is there a grace period?

I've received two CHL now in states where the local sheriff is the issuing authority for the state license.. WA and OR. I doubt this is any different.

AK was a state deal like TX is
My other CHL's from SC and NC… well I don’t really remember who I processed though.

Re: Fender Bender incident - Need to show CHL?

Or like I've said several times about what a cop buddy of mine said: Without your CHL on you, you are UCW. UCW = Class B. Class B = Revocation. No need for the penalty, you're still screwed. Not showing, carrying, being made is what was discussed above..for which there is no penalty. Not Having a C...

Re: Is there a grace period?

A Pennsylvania permit might be the answer. A copy of you TX drivers license, a copy of your TX CHL, a one page form and a check for $26 and in just a FEW weeks you'll be good for 5 years. Centre county PA Sheriff Denny Nau: http://www.co.centre.pa.us/sheriff/license_application.asp" onclick=&q...

Re: Questions being asked to new Marine

Give me the city and or better yet actual recruiting station. I can have an un official answer in 24 hours.. And if it feels wrong, an official statement from the Military in,, well as long as the interviews and investigation takes.. For the record.. This is not a new E rumor. It has been posted on ...

Perhaps I'm just not paranoid enough,, But if a human knocks on my door or rings the bell, I'll be answering it.. With caution, and a question or two prior to doing so maybe.. But...answer it I will... "Ding Dong... YES... Sir, I evidently hit your parked car.....Ran over your cat.....wife is h...

Re: co-worker robbed at gun point

Wouldn't honking the horn and drawing attention maybe get the pistol turned in your direction ? I like the reply as far as being a good witness, calling 911, and getting plate number and description. But, I wouldn't draw attention to myself and get the gun pointed in my direction. At that point I w...

Re: Should the American Flag Be Banned -- in America?

I fly Old Glory 24/7. Anytime that she is an "unfit emblem for display" I change her out. I think that everyone should fly the American flag and fly it the proper way. To those that fly the US colors 24/7 .. You are illuminating the flag at night yes? I only ask because I have seen folks ...
