Very informative article. Looks like the contract is very provider friendly. I'm not one to take "sucker bets".Liberty wrote:This is a link discussing the controversy and the class-action suit.

Re: Property straddles state line
Make sure you're standing on the right side when you shoot. Seriously though, if it were me I'd take a defensive position in the house and call police for someone trespassing in the backyard. If they cross the line and try to enter the house all bets are off. The real question is which police depart...

Re: Lefty Protests; masks illegal in most Southern states
It's an add on charge in La. I lived there for 30 years and never heard of anyone being charged for it. In fact, I've seen more than one Klan march where the participants wore hoods with police all over the place. Didn't seem to be an issue. On the flip side, open carry is legal in La. Do it in NOLA...

Re: Speed trap from private property???
Very common practice in our neck of the woods. One road close to us that is heavily enforced has only private drives so that is the only option.

Prayer request for family who lost child
Please pray for our friends who lost their 14 yo daughter yesterday. She had the flu for several days and yesterday morning thought a hot bath would make her feel better. Her mom went to check on her and discovered her under the water. Mom, dad, and two younger sisters are devastated. They very much...

Re: LTC individual has ND at Houston Galleria
This is what happens when (1) you carry with a round in the chamber, and (2) when you fail to properly secure your handgun. Bad press for all of us who safely carry. The anti-gunners of course will jump on this one. Hold on there partner. Carrying a round in the chamber is perfectly ok. There is no...

Re: LTC individual has ND at Houston Galleria
He must have a criminal charge pending to lose the license. If DA rejects charge, he's ok. Well, he may be okay with respect to his legal record and CHL/LTC. But he's still an absolute idiot, so he's far from okay in that regard. Stupidity hurts. :iagree: I would expect something like this from the...

Re: Research Help Needed!
I know it's been mentioned, but I think that it bears repeating, the cited case is not what was described in the OP (person charged and convicted for walking past a gun buster sign). This is a totally different animal. Although I disagree with the verdict, many on this forum, myself included, have s...

This case is a perfect example of why you keep your mouth shut until you have legal representation.
