Re: Premium Cigars

I just came in from the patio after smoking a Padron 2000 maduro with a glass of red wine to sip on. I have tried several, La Fleur Dominica, Punch (my second favorite), A. Fuentes, Romeo & Julieta, & Macanudo. I continue to try on the recommendations of others, but I still keep coming back ...

Premium Cigars

Anyone else enjoy the occasional cigar?
Of course, after going to the range or cleaning the guns in the backyard.
I'm referring to the likes of Padron, Punch, A. Fuente, Macanudo etc.

The exception is that wages can be withheld in the amount of assigned state child support payments. There are some qualifications as to type and size of employer etc.

Re: Man Charged After Gun Hidden in Oven Goes Off

I suppose my interest in this story was more about the feasibility of 'cooking off' (pun intended) a round from the heat generated from the oven. There may be other variables involved in the circumstances in this specific story. Theoretically, an oven is heated to around 350 - 400 degrees for practi...

Man Charged After Gun Hidden in Oven Goes Off

I just read this on Fox.com Thought it would be an interesting topic. CHICAGO — Chicago police say two children were injured when a loaded handgun hidden inside an oven discharged when the stove was heated for cooking. Twenty-four-year-old Anthony Smith of Chicago has been charged with two counts ...

Re: Rebecca Suspended. YEA!!!? Badgering a Victim! NEW INFO

"I just think it's really sad that I gave this company 14 years and I did about 6,000 interviews," Aguilar said. "And now I'm out of a job because of one interview? It's like in one swoop it ruined my reputation. It ruined my name." Spoken like a arrogant journalist who self-imp...

Could it be a simple case of semantics?

Re: Gun show + 3% credit card use increase

One of the few things I remember from my Business Law class way back in the '70s, (a lot of that era is a 'blur' now), was that it is perfectly legal for vendors to base their charges on the method of payment. 'One price cash and one price credit.' Bottom line was this: 'Cash in hand talks louder th...

Okay,
How many of you, like me, pulled their CHL out of their wallet and checked for the DL number after reading this thread?

Re: CHLer arrested in improperly posted hospital

I am just curious, are you guys securing your weapons just because it is hospital policy (and to be nice), or are you securing them under a statute or departmental policy? Hospital policy. The same as when we go to city or county jail - it's their policy that dictates the weapons on premises proced...

Re: Romney just messed up

This leaves me with either Thompson or Huckabee in the primary. I like Tancredo and Hunter too but they aren't getting enough support to have a decent shot. Right now, I'm leaning towards Thompson. I like his position on gun rights and I really like his appreciation of federalism. Paul's foreign po...

I think the judges he appoints cannot be worse than what Hillary/Obama would appoint. And they just might be a little better. And the Slow Wheat candidate isn't going to win no matter what we do or wish for. So if it turns out to be Rudy vs. a Democrat, and people idealistically stay home or vote S...

My fear and apprehension that the future integrity of the 2nd ammendment will be eroded and that more gun control initiatives and laws will be enacted -
has just been verified.

I'm not so sure that Bush the First would of been much better. "read my lips, no new taxes" Yes you are absolutly correct. We suffered a dissapointment there with a failed campaign promise. However, I believe that as a country, we suffered enormous damage to the 2nd ammendment individual ...
