Re: Armscor 22tcm95 Conversion Kit For Glocks
I was excited about this news when I first heard about it but then I purchased a 22TCM 1911 and quite frankly I'm glad I did. The conversion kit is quite expensive and the shorter length specialty ammo (necked down .223, 39 grain) required for use in the Glock will likely be about as abundant as Uni...

Re: FL: Dispatcher sends police to wrong home 9 rounds fired
Good thing it wasn't a "no knock" warrant or there would definitely have been innocent blood spilled. I can't believe that there is no internal investigation into sending officers to the wrong address. Really?

Re: Psychiatric Care Questions
Just my opinion, but I think that if you can pass the NICs check to buy a pistol then you should be fine for your LTC in this situation. If you are disallowed from getting an LTC due to psychiatric care, then it should be because you are not allowed to own firearms not because of medical treatment. ...

Re: Allowance
When I was a kid, I got 50 cents a week if my chores had been completed that week. No completed chores - no allowance. Simple concept.
If I remember correctly, I used to buy two fifty round boxes of .22 LR every week. I always got my chores done.

Don't want to steal this thread from the OP but if you are considering getting a 22TCM/9mm Combo, here are a couple of quick videos to help push you over the edge. Re: How many rounds per year?
Probably around 1500 to 2000 per year just shooting and training. Don't do any strictly recreational shooting (plinking) although always have great fun while training and practicing.

Re: Sign makers are not helping the CC cause
Most businesses will continue to post both signs as long as they believe (erroneously or not) that the majority of their clientele wish to see the signs posted. I personally do not do business with private businesses that officially (by posting legal signage) do not support my God given right to sel...

Congrats! Were you both using your own rifles? What did you use? Noticed the cans and wondered what to local laws are pertaining to suppressors. Thanks for the post.

Re: 9mm 1911 opinions
The fit and function is absolutely great, couldn't ask for better. Trigger is truly excellent. The finish is Parkerized, which is not my favorite finish for a handgun but certainly of high enough quality. I've put a few hundred 22TCM through it and probably 1500 9mm. Never an issue. The grips are V...
