Re: Is the 'Techna Clip' legal carry in Texas?
What you will discover is that carrying is a journey and what you do today in the regards to how you carry may change over time!!! (until you figure out what you like or dislike and as the seasons change) Thus the existence of the "drawer o' holsters"! :iagree: We all got one! :iagr...

Re: LTC Class-High Pressure Sales Tactics for Legal Defense programs
I had the opportunity to observe a class recently - good instructor and he clearly said it was a break and feel free to stay or take break.
But funniest thing said was that pre-paid legal service is who the legislature calls to get advice on all gun bills as they write most of them.

Re: Star-Telegram article on carry at Ft. Worth zoo
I haven't been back to the Ft. Worth Zoo except to get pictures when I filed the complaint in October of 2015. What is interesting is that those signs at the time were non-compliant with the statute as they were a combination of both 30.06/30.07 into a single sign. I am not sure if they have been up...

Re: Waiting....
My son took his LTC class October 20. He got the emails that his application had been received and then a couple of days later that his fingerprints had been received. But his status online has never shown up. Another person who took class with him received his LTC last month. Strange.

Re: Star-Telegram article on carry at Ft. Worth zoo
I agree that the author got it wrong. What the AG ruled was that the City of Fort Worth nor the Zoo can be fined: " After review, the OAG determines the 30.06 signs at issue were posted by the association, which possesses the exclusive right to post signage on the zoo premises under the terms o...

Re: This is extra wishful...51% changes
I do not think guns and alcohol mix - ever. But imho 51% is a not the best way to go about it. There has to be a more sensible way that can pass through the legislature. I agree about the frustration of being in an establishment yet I'm prohibited from carrying as I don't drink. Where this is the bi...

I don't know if they have an Android app, but let me add another question from mine above:
Upon installation - BEFORE someone enters their license information (or decides not to) what personally identifying information did they get from your phone?

I hate "hate crimes" legislation. Instead, why don't they just make it an automatic charge of a capital offense?

Re: Halos - Valuable resource, Curiosity, or Detriment?
What permissions does the app ask for? Is it gathering personal information? What is being done with that information? I wouldn't want an app to be able to let anyone else know anything about me carrying - not even my general location. Just my .02, but this is either a naive person/group supporting ...
