What RPBrown suggested is a good idea. Let me know when and where. I am in Round Rock so no need of a charter bus for me, but I might make it up there that weekend. I got some friends in Fort Worth I have not seen in a while so I could stay over Saturday night. So Sat or Sunday would work for me if ...

Would be some interesting information to know. And come to think about it I have not seen anything about it. Which with the internet as it is today is kind of odd. I will do some looking around.

I agree that it would be a nice law to have. Lord knows that anyone that had to defend themselves will be stressed enough as it is. And then they find out they are going to get sued after it is over must be a total stress out.

I like the Speer and the Lyman myself. The power company's web sites are a great help, and if you have any questions they have an email you can send the question to. It is usually just takes a day or so to get an answer. Enjoy the hobby. It takes paying A LOT of careful attention, but it really is n...

I am like a lot of people here. Between military, jobs, CHL I know they have at least 30 sets of prints from me. Lord knows how many the Army lab at Fort Gillem had. Every time we sent in evidence we included a set of our prints. Would be interesting to see what they looked like when I was 18 and wh...

suXor I understand where your coming from. When I took my renewal class the instructor had to load one guys pistol mags for him. irritated me off at the time, the whole knowing your weapon and all. But looking at his target I will have to say he did know how to shoot. And he had 15 rounds to work wi...

I need to pick one of them up one of these days. I carried one a few times while I worked with CID in the Army. Wished like heck I know what model it was now. Back then a pistol was a pistol :)

Nice shooting.

I have been disarmed once by DPS. Felt a little odd standing by the side of the road with my hands on my head in broad daylight while he disarmed me. Man some of the looks I got :) I just stood there chuckling a little. He said it was for mine and his protection. He never cleared the weapon and just...

Interesting question now that I think about it. We had one person in my renewal class that used one of the Laser Grips on one of the new Smith and Wesson 1911's. Instructor never said a thing. If it is part of the pistol then I do not see why it would not be allowed. But heck I do not call the shots...
