Re: SCOTUS
I believe that Flightmare has hit the nail on the head. This is an attempt to garner enough attention and dissent to cause one of the Justices to possibly change their vote. However, I really do not believe that will not happen. What NEEDS to happen is for Roberts to ferret out who the leaker is an...

Re: Ice Storm 2022
All fine here in Las Colinas. We have all underground lines, but because of the generation shortages last year, we went 3 full days with zero power. We had a lot of damage but nothing compared to some. We put in a generator for the house since last year, but we haven't had to use it. Mainly sleet ri...

Re: Beto 2.0?
If he loses ( we can’t assume anything these days), we can call him Beto-for-three. He damn near won against Cruz. He turned Tarrant county Blue and it stayed that way for Xiden. He didn't turn Tarrant blue. The people that lived there turned it blue. Regardless, it was the last high population cou...

Re: Secured area of airport
All armed personnel are aware of other armed persons on the aircraft. Not true. I've accidently carried, on my person, out of DFW on a flight to COS. Never even thought about it until I sat down on the plane itself. Out of curiosity did you go through the magnetometer or the body scanner? Pre-check...

Our team maintains over 100k linux VM's (I've been in Fortune100 IT for 25 years) and I've been using Win 11 for the past few months. It's solid as Win 10 was.

Re: Why bother
You're right, of course - privacy is pretty much gone these days but we can/should still be alert for creeping government encroachment, which I believe is the larger concern behind 1wise1's post. I agree wholeheartedly... Just don't want people going around thinking they have privacy... they don't.

Re: Why bother
My my, how times have changed. I am old enough to remember the cries of many who saw it as a violation of their privacy to have to "register" in order to carry a gun. We got over it.. now the game has changed to: "stay registered" because it is the smart thing to do. Military ha...

Never had a problem in 30 years. They're great. Just bought a set for my wife's Infiniti last week after a sidewall cut... no upsells, had us out in 25 minutes her in Irving.

Re: Time to modernize qual - allow Red Dots
With the explosion of red dots on guns including OEM direct from the manufacturer, has there been any movement from RSD/DPS to modernize the qualification shoot restrictions? Don't know about you, but more and more students are showing up with red dots. When this rule was written, an optic on a han...

Re: Ruger LCP MAX
Unfortunately I’ve had 2 bad experiences with Ruger pistols, the LC9s and LCP. The LC9s had a broken seer and the LCP was never reliable at feeding the next round. I carried the 9s for 3 weeks with the seer broken and never knew. Had I carried both at the same time, I might have gotten 1 round off....
