Re: Drones
And registration is only required if the drone is over 250 grams. The Mavic mini comes in a 249 grams. But don't you still have to comply with the airspace and altitude rules? And how do you know those if you're flying an unlicensed drone. As a pilot, I'm concerned about ignorant drone flyers causi...

Re: Anybody bought body armor? Thinking about it....
I've had a few sets of plates. So far my favorites are these: https://www.shellbacktactical.com/shellback-tactical-prevail-series-10-x-12-stand-alone-level-iv-hard-armor-plate-model-4sicmh/ They aren't cheap, but after having Safariland, Bulletproofme, Army issue (I'm a contractor, not military) and...

Re: Beretta 92x Compact or Centurion
I've always been a Centurion fan, in fact I carried a 96D Centurion for a long time before selling it on this very forum.
I wouldn't mind a 92X Centurion now.

Re: Federal Air Marshal Qualification: Test Your CCW Skills
An instructor in a class I was in made us shoot it. We were all relatively competent.
None of us passed
I think I'd do better now, but it's certainly not easy.

Ruger Precision Rimfire .22LR - DFW
I intended to use this as a trainer for my Ruger Precision Rifle, but after hitting 1,000yds with the latter I got bored and traded it in so I no longer need this (me and my awesome plans ). The previous owner put about 300rds through it, and I've put around 50-100rds through it. The stock mag...

Older Winchester Super X/Super Speed ammo
Is this stuff desirable at all? I've seen some ads selling it as "vintage". I ask because I have three ammo cans full of it and really don't need it. Unfortunately, when I put it in the cans I tossed all the boxes without knowing they might be worth something :???: It's all high brass stuf...

Re: Drones
They'll be useful in the coming years if you take the time to learn about them  Actually... I’m very interested in learning. My next planned large purchase isn’t another gun—of which I have plenty—it’s a a drone. I’m thinking in terms of the latest Mavik Mini, which is supposed to have longer...

Re: Drones
It should be legal, IMHO, as long as your rounds do not travel past your property line (including missed shots). But I'll rely on the advice of others here that it is apparently illegal. On another note, and at the risk of thread drift, I've been interested in getting into drones since the technolo...
