Can anyone explain the Arizona process? It seems my Texas CHL exempts me from the class/training requirements, but I see no way to apply other than through approved Arizona instructors... It would also appear that I have to go to Arizona for this process. Can anyone set me straight here? Call them ...

I will be working in DFW the next couple of weeks and may have a chance to shoot the Aug 18 Thursday night match. Anything specific I need to do ahead of time? Is their a rough round count for your Thursday night matches? What time do I need to be there and what is a normal finish time?

I don't think so. The chief instructor there (last summer) was Sgt. Stuart Bamsch. He struck me as a really cool guy, and very much into the CHL program. I can't imagine him failing anybody out of spite. Lots of things have changed since 1999 -- except possibly in the legal department. :grumble Bam...

I took MAG-40 in August of '10. It will be well worth your time and effort. The notes you can take from the classroom portion make a small book.
