Re: 2000 Mules - must watch and share
I agree that there were issues with the election and something needs to be done but it won't happen as long as the left controls both houses of congress. After the midterms, things may change (hope they do). If the conservatives get control of both houses along with enough senate seats to be able to...

Re: High ready or low ready?
My training comes from many classes with Paul Howe at CSAT. He recommends a high ready (muzzle up at about 70-75 degrees and close to the body (you can find that on some of his you tube or Facebook videos). He does that so that we can see the adversary for solid target discretion and NOT have the mu...

Re: Looking to Purchase a 1911
Might take a look at a Dan Wesson. They may be a little more money up front but they won't need a trip to a good gunsmith to address triggers or any other shortcomings of a Springfield or others. I speak from experience with the Springfields (two TRPs and a Trophy Match). They all needed work so the...

Re: Texas could be self sufficient?
A large part of the refineries in Texas are set up to process heavy crude oil (supplied by Mexico, Venezuela, Saudi or Canada). Mexico supplies the refinery that they now own 100% in Deer Park (formerly was a joint venture with Shell). The fuel that is made there goes back to Mexico (because Mexico ...

eyedoc, I agree with you but did not want to get kicked off the forum for what I wanted to say so I kept it civil.

CSAT Instructor Coy Harry has a very similar background as the folks mentioned. I took a close quarter class from him (others in the class) at CSAT last year. You will learn hand to hand, knife and close quarter handgun. Coy is very impressive, an excellent instructor and someone I would want on my ...

Vindman is just a left wing traitor that should be drummed out of the service and jailed. If you want to learn more from a reliable source, please watch the Jordan Peterson interview of Dr. Frederick Kagan (link attached). Kagan is the real deal (unlike Vindman). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys2z...

Re: Nobody but Hillary Clinton
Everyone tied to this, including Hillary, should be tried for treason and executed by firing squad (broadcast on national television so that the left understands the consequences of their behavior).

They don't even like his electric cars. Greenies think we shouldn't have cars either and take public transportation. I have seen the model you mentioned in my two visits to Europe (Amsterdam and souther Germany - both business trips). Everyone but the elite wealthy ride bicycles (rain, snow, heat, ...

Not sure on that. I have talked to democrats that think Biden is doing a wonderful job. I don't know what they are thinking but I am concerned that there are many delusional democrats share that line of thinking.

Re: Changing my SD rifle ammo...
A retired HPD SWAT Sniper/Team Lead/In charge of training for HPD SWAT, etc. taught a two day class on home defense with an AR several years ago. He stated that the AR - with the right ammo - is the best home defense weapon available. The ammo he recommended is Speer Gold Dot Soft Point. He went thr...

Re: Does Kimber suck?
I have two of their bolt action 22 rimfire rifles that I bought new more than 20 years ago and they are great. Some time after Obama was elected (and a couple of years after Kimber changed owners, I bought the Super Carry Pro (4" barrel). Nothing but problems (feeding, ejection, they forgot to ...

Establishment is not holding back improved (and lower cost) nuclear power plants, the public is. The designs are out but no one wants one of these things near them. Power companies are afraid to take the financial risks to build them as they know when left wing nut jobs get in power, they will shut ...

Re: Why setting up your rifle based on the mission is wrong
I have the marine corp version of the ACOG and just had the tritium refreshed. I have used it in competition and at several classes at CSAT. I don’t feel like I am giving up anything with it. I can go prone, shooting off of my magazine and hit 9 inch steel discs at 300 yards that we shoot in one of ...

Re: Why setting up your rifle based on the mission is wrong
Thank you for sharing this. I have run an ACOG for the past 12 years and think it works well from point blank to as far as a AR will shoot. Don't understand the need for the VCOG.
